This is a very good hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Lena (I think her name was) She booked us a restaurant for that evening as the hotel restaurant isn't open of a weekend. She also booked us a taxi into town as it was raining hard. We had a triple room, this was a very good size, with a sofa and small kitchen. Breakfast had a great selection to choose from. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is well situated in Hattingen which is a surprisingly pretty town. The hotel is great value, has a superb buffet breakfast with a large arrange of choice. We arrived on 5 motorcycles and they parked us in a locked underground car park. So important to us. What really made this was the staff. The lady on reception met us with a smile. Saw we were tired. Told us to sit out in the sun. And have a beer. She’d bring the paperwork to register out to us. It was such an easy process that was so welcome. The lady serving drinks too was friendly and English is spoken well. Highly recommended

Gebäude und Einrichtung zum Teil etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und ordentlich. Vor allem sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal!

Ayant un mariage à Hattingen nous avons choisi l Hôtel Avant-garde. Bien nous en a pris. Excentré de cette ville touristique médiévale cela nous a permis d être au vert. Le premier soir nous avons mangé sur place et les souvenirs des plats allemands m ont fait le plus grand bien. De plus nous avons été super accueillis par deux dames hyper sympathiques. Tout au long du séjour le personnel à notre écoute, même au petit déjeuner bien achalandé. Merci, vous avez fait parti de ce magnifique séjour. La chambre B28 du 13/07.
