the room was very comfortable and the bathroom great. I liked the rooftop patio. The jazz festival was nice to hear in the background and I am glad it quit by midnight so we could sleep.

Self check in for foreign travellers without access to SMS was a problem, and a stressful one. Staff wasn’t as helpful or reassuring as they should have been — communication was confusing and mixed messages. Overpriced but beds are comfy!

I paid for an upgraded room on the top floor which was unique and stylish. I hate carpets in hotel rooms but that was the only negative. Very friendly staff at the bar in the evening and at breakfast in the morning. Would definitely return. Love the keyless entry.

What I like was it was good beds, clean rooms, quiet and excellent breakfast.
What I did not like was that the wifi in my room was awful.
I had to go down to the main area to get any good wifi.

- Great location in the City centre
- Easy check in
The bad
- No ramp for wheelchair or strollers
- Most of the tv channels had poor signal
- Pitched roof
- No mini bar in the room or in the reception

Digital check-in was easy. Excellent breakfast and service by staff. Room was very clean and we got room service while eating breakfast even though we only stayed 2 nights. Spacious shower. No air conditioning made the room extremely warm, and leaving the window open didn't help much. Beautiful fountain outside the window made a lot of noise, but it actually was quite relaxing. My fiance had problems sleeping with the abnormally large and soft pillows. All in all not much to complain about, my impression is good, even though the facilities are lacking when compared to higher rated hotels.
