Reflections Jimmys Beach - Holiday Park

We have been coming to Jimmys with friends and family regularly since 2015 and sadly will not be renewing our next years booking. During our week in the unpowered section there was no maintenance, cleaning up leaves, watering etc at all, the sites are so overgrown with tree canopies now there is virtually no solar power available for us, and the risk of branches falling is worse each year. Cost next year for unpowered for the same week in 2025 was quoted at $362, thats absurd for what we get. Yes, you say 'all your money goes back into the parks', but that just means you build more cabins to make more money! Our group of 4 caravans will now stay at Fingal cvan park, we are booked on a double slab powered site for 1 week at $300. I have complained about this in previous years but the rates still go up, it seems Reflections is all about greed.

Fantastic location on a beautiful beach. We stayed in a new Premium Tiny House which was perfect for what we needed and reasonably priced, particularly given it was school holidays. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that we felt the activities for kids was a little limited. Most parks these days have a putt putt, games room, pool slides, etc . Reflections was a little limited in this area. There was a playground outside of the park which our kids played at, but being little we needed to follow them out and supervise them. But other than this small hiccup, it’s a fantastic park. The reception staff were always welcoming and friendly. Thank you!

The Holiday Park had a great atmosphere with plenty of friendly people, active children, attractions within walking distance and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very polite and informative.

We love the bush campsites at Jimmy's Beach with access to fantasic facilities, especially the hot showers! It was perfect for our group because most of us are campers and enjoy the campsites, but some friends don't own a tent, but they were able to book the glamping tents and feel part of the group. We also love how close it is to wave beaches and sand dunes for older kids, but also the bay for younger kids. And a communal fire place, which is essential for toasting our marshmallows over. Definitely coming back again!

Our recent 10 day stay at Reflections Jimmys Beach was very disappointing. We packed up and left early after a few incidents. The lack of boom gates allowed all and sundry to enter the park 24/7. This made it hard to sleep at night as cars raced through the park. We woke one morning to find the men’s toilet/shower block vandalised and 5 showers destroyed. The main amenities block was never locked even though their was a security code provided for entry. Our trips to the amazing pool were spoilt by local teenagers using the limited sun lounges for all day parties and using offensive language in the pool area. This occurred on three occasions. The pool rules signage stated that all children 16 and under were to be accompanied by an adult. This was not monitored. We had neighbouring guests smoking ********* and parking numerous cars on our site. At no time during our 8 day stay did we see security I have emailed management with no reply to date. Disappointed we stayed at this park. Hawks Nest is a great place to visit. We won’t be staying at this park again.

We had a safari tent, here are my issues with the one we had: * Air conditioner didn't really cut it, it took a couple of hours to trouble shoot why it was blowing hot. * Shower water pressure was TERRIBLE, I had to utilise the camp amenities where the pressure was 3 times as better. * Some form of soundproofing would of been great, all we heard was the guests next door music till 10pm on Good Friday and then again to late on Easter Sunday. About the park issues: * Staff that run the coffee van need more support and training, forgetful about mine and other guests orders and too long to make. * No after hours staff/security that patrol the park from nightfall that ensure noise levels are those that respect the comfort of other guests. *Some form of protective barrier at the drains near the climbing park, a couple of occasions, balls ended up in the drain and had to use brooms, etc to get them out * I know this isn't wholly on the park, but between the park and council, invest in raised walkways from the park to the beaches. Positives: * The safari tent was well equipped with toilet paper, soaps, dishwashing stuff. garbage bags. * Playground was a hit with the kids * Reception staff were lovely. * Plenty of towels provided.

We stayed for two nights in a Tiny House. Unbelievably well appointed with large fridge, oven, gas cooktops, double bed, full size bathroom and absolutely everything you would need to have a self catering holiday. It's amazing what they have squeezed into this little house!! There are 3 stools inside, but no real shelter outside if it rains. BIG THUMBS UP !!!

It's heading towards becoming a resort. A bunch of Villas and glamping tents all encircling the pool. The caravan fraternity are being pushed out. Friends booked a cabin. Over $800 for a 2 bedroom for 2 nights.

As a child my family would holiday in Hawks Nest often in the 70s and 80s. I have thoroughly enjoyed rediscovering the area over the last few years and whilst the area is changing it’s still one of the most beautiful spots north of Sydney. The beaches are magnificent and there is lots to do in the area. We love staying in the cabins at Jimmy Beach which are clean, comfortable, and with everything you need. Around the new pool area the new cabins and gardens look great but feel would be noisy during peak season, luckily there is a number of choices and styles of cabins too choose from. Staff are efficient and friendly, and looking forward to returning again and again.
