The Cornubia Inn

Doskonały pobyt!! Muszę dodać, że kiedy przyjechaliśmy, nasz pokój nie był gotowy z powodu pewnego zamieszania, jednak zaoferowano nam darmowego drinka i podwyższenie standardu do ich najlepszego pokoju. Zjedliśmy tam również kolację (wieczór pieczonego mięsa) i jedzenie było doskonałe, wołowina była wilgotna i ugotowana do perfekcji. Dobry pokój i wygodne łóżko; gorąco polecam, nie mogę im nic zarzucić.

Ticked the box, pretty average, room ok good service from staff (only1 there) Door on room 3 bit awkward on using the key, room not on main road so a little quieter . To late for supper so kebab from down the road not good Football on the Tv and no breakfast but again went down the Road opposite Aldi

Absolutely lovely service, Dee and Ross were so accommodating and helpful, we usually go to different pubs every week but will be coming here much more often because of the service. My doggie also loved the best seat in the house in front of the fire 🔥 Would highly recommend, thank you very much!!

Unfortunately we were made to feel very unwelcome, barman was rude, uninterested, got cross as we'd asked for a bottle of beer from the fridge, and he snapped, does anybody else want something from the fridge as I have a bad back! Then went on to play pool with his mates, place was dirty, toilets to match, we won't be returning, went to a pub 2 mins down the road and had a great experience

My first thought when we arrived was "hell no" but we already paid and couldn't back down, it was a bit awkward to go in a pub while people were there enjoying their pint and they all stop and look at you when you get your key to go in the room but surprisingly good the room was spacious, clean and very modern, a large toilet room with a nice shower and a Nespresso coffee machine, the only downside was the live music on Friday evening as we were tired and wanted to sleep but had to wait for them to finish which was around midnight but overall very impressed, well done, I won't be booking again cause I am not a big fan of pubs but definitely recommend the place to someone relaxed who enjoys beer and music ( the music was amazing too )

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! The room was freezing cold. No working heating. A very thin duvet on the bed and a blanket that was for a single bed not a double. Single glazing. Filthy, moldy window frames. Traffic noise. ......The list is endless....... We complained to ******* and the owners/managers but neither ******* nor we got a response. Very unprofessional!

Went for a Pint and the bartender was more than welcoming, Keep up the good work Deneka. Kept us youngsters 😂 more than entertained. Definitely visit again. Keep up the good work. Lovin my new nickname she has given me,brilliant banter.till next time.

We popped in just before 7:30 on a Wednesday night wanting something to eat. The lady with short hair and glasses working behind the bar wasn't the friendliest or welcoming of staff I'd met during my last 10 days in Cornwall. Anyway I ordered rump steak medium and my husband ordered the beef lasagne. When the food was served, my husband had been given a vegetable lasagne instead of the meat one ordered. He went to see the lady behind the who said that the chef had ran out so that's what you have been given. No option for anything else or anything. My steak was not cooked medium but instead rare, and peas were stone cold. When the said bar lady came over to the table I said how disappointed we were and asked why we were not given the choice for something else off of the menu. She simply said she just serves the food, its nothing to do with her and only relays what's given from the kitchen. I said an apology would have been nice and that someone should have taken ownership of the situation. Clearly she couldn't care less, after all we had already paid. She done nothing to rectify the situation and did not even apologise. Infact her response was which was actually more like a threat was that if we stick around long enough we could meet the landlord. So we finished our drink and left. It is a basic to order and get the correct item but it would seem they will just serve you anything here no matter what you ordered.

The Room was very clean with a modern shower and coffee and tea facilities. The property was a little hard to find because of scaffolding around it. The Staff were very pleasant and helpful.. The food was exceptional with large servings. It was good to listen to the music on the Monday night. We only had 1 night there but will visit again when we are in the area.
