Sadly I can only give this accommodation a 1 out of 5 because I had little sleep in the three nights I stayed. I left feeling more shattered than when I arrived. I booked the forest suite, lovely decorated room with a four poster bed. However, there is a door connecting to the suite next door which I can only assume is the reason why it felt as though the people next door were in the room with me. I could hear them yawning, going to the toilet, their conversations and their snoring. I must point out that they were not noisy neighbours I could hear them purely because the rooms are not built to block out any sound whosoever. The one night I didn’t have a neighbour I was kept awake all night by loud music. I was later informed by staff that there was a nightclub next next door. I had to be up at 4.30am for a safari so a nightclub was not what I needed, the music was still blasting out when I left for the safari. I booked the optional morning safari in the day I left. I was put with the full day safari group who had a 45 minute break which was good for them given they were out all day but not for me, 45 minutes was a lot when I only had a half day package (6am - 10am in the park so almost a quarter of that time on a break). Straight after the break I was driven back to the exit. My only other slight annoyance was I asked the accommodation if they could change up 200 rand. I knew they had change because only a few hours before I gave them cash for a safari. But I was told immediately that they didn’t have change. A few moments later a member of staff asked if I needed the change for tips and insinuated that if it this was the case she may have change! Also it would have been nice to have wifi in the room. To access wifi you have to go to reception/dinning area.
