Great property that had an easy check in service with easy parking and walking to nearby sites. We loved our rooms and service and friendly front desk staff. Great breakfast included in the morning. Would recommend!

The room was large and comfortable, but quite dated. Comfortable beds. The WIFI was very poor. Breakfast was excellent, however. The reception is not staffed in the late afternoon/evening.

The hotel staff were nice and friendly, breakfast was normal continental buffet and fine. However, the room was compact, the bed a small double pushed against the wall. As previous guests had mentioned the shower screen broken and stained as were the tiles and shower head. I don't know about other rooms only number 19.

Great, amazingly great staff. Very kind and accommodating. They all spoke English quite well.
Breakfast was all I could ask for... and more.
Small boutique hotel (only 14 rooms) where all the staff knew my name and treated me like family.
And the three best things about the hotel:
LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION!
Hotel Montpi is in the heart of the Altstadt
Steps away from public transportation and just a couple blocks to University Square in the heart of the Old Town, this hotel is perfect for exploring the beautiful city of Heidelberg!
I went to visit the Christmas Markets and found I could not have chosen a better hotel for this purpose.

The hotel photographs are not the best representation of the current building, it is showing it’s age.
The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was excellent.
The hotel is located in the old town and everything is walkable from there. We had room 11 facing the front of the hotel, earplugs were left on the bed… the roadway is noisy with several police or ambulance sirens during the night.
