We booked to stay at Saltus back in March 2022, and were looking forward to our stay. We did not receive the email with the villa access information, and despite writing to Saltus two days before arrival we did not hear anything. We arrived in Hepburn Springs at the time of check-in, but still had not heard back. We called the number and left at least 4 messages, but no-one called us back, we tried emailing again, yet no answer. We had no choice but to seek alternate accommodation at the very last minute. When Saltus did finally contact us, the representative was apologetic and said that our booking had ‘slipped under the radar and had been forgotten about’, despite me having emailed on Saturday requesting the villa access information and the messages left on the phone number remaining unanswered. While I appreciate that we will be fully refunded and we await the funds to be returned to our account, the lack of communication by Saltus was disheartening to say the least. We stayed at Saltus quite a few times before the business changed hands, and it’s clear that priorities have changed and it’s no longer the luxury experience it once was.
