Veneziano Boutique Hotel

Μείναμε μόνο για μια βραδιά με την κοπέλα μου, αλλά ήμασταν πολύ ευχαριστημένοι από την εξυπηρέτηση, την αισθητική του χώρου και την φιλοξενία του προσωπικού. Η διαρρύθμιση των δωματίων είναι μοναδική και το γεγονός ότι τόσο κοντά στο ξενοδοχείο έχεις άπειρες επιλογές για φαγητό και ποτό δεν μπορεί παρά να σε ευχαριστεί στο έπακρο.

Ξεκούραστη βραδιά και χαλαρωτικό κλίμα με άψογες υπηρεσίες μέσα στο δωμάτιο το οποίο ήταν πολύ καθαρό και περιποιημένο. Το προσωπικό και η ρεσεψιόν ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικοί. Το πρωινό ήταν πολύ πλούσιο! Θα το επιλέξουμε για την επόμενη διαμονή μας στο στο Ηράκλειο !!!

Unfortunately this "hotel" was probably the worst accommodation experience I've had in my life. Let's start with them calling us from a random number telling me hours before we were going to check in that no one was going to be on site. That's right, there would be no staff. They left our key in a lockbox and said good luck. Getting this information thru a cell phone call traveling internationally with someone who does not speak clear English was enough of an issue, but once we arrived we were shocked by how terrible dirty and unsafe the neighborhood felt. There were people loitering around the property, looking at our car after we parked and we thought they were going to steal it or worse - all the while, fussing with a lock box combination with zero help from the front staff- because they all decided to go home. Once we got in, the room itself was incredibly dated and musty. The pictures they list must have been of the best room possible with new linens, since our linens looked like they were from 1980. We literally walked in and walked right out. I have never left a place so quickly and booked a new hotel a few blocks away at a MUCH much better neighborhood and hotel (Astoria Capsis, which was very good and literally the same price - which is to say that this place was very very overpriced). there is also no parking, literally anywhere - small streets, narrow driveways, no parking available. I think the worst part of the whole experience was the hotel then attempted to censor the review and bully their customers. You can't call yourself a Hotel if you are a collection of old rooms around an abandoned courtyard with a lockbox to enter. Even hostels have more service and amenities. Instead we thought we were going to be robbed. DO not stay here - literally save yourself.

Ότι χρειαζόμουν μετά από μια κουραστική ημέρα δουλειάς.. Ήταν Ισυχα και χαλαρά. Μετά από ένα ζεστό μπάνιο ξαπλωσα να ξεκουραστώ, καθαρά σεντόνια καθαρό δωμάτιο. Ότι χρειαζόμουν.. Όταν ξανά κατέβω Ηράκλειο θα ξανά πάω σίγουρα. Ευχαριστώ

The hotel itself is very artistic with ornate rooms and accessories. The rooms have a small kitchen with required utensils. We spent 2 nights here and it was really nice. The beds were really comfortable. The location of the hotel is superb and directly in the city center. You can reach to the lively places in Heraklion and explore the night life which is just 2 min by walk from this place. The people at the reception are very warm and very helpful. They helped us to book a rapid corona test with a hospital. They also helped us book the ferry. They also provided us with a breakfast package since our ferry was going to leave early the next day. Nevertheless, there were some small things which can be improved. The air conditioner is located in a weird place, which takes a lot of time to cool both the rooms. The air is obstructed by the cupboard which is directly in front of the air conditioner.

Right in the heart of downtown Heraklion, this cosy hotel is a short walk from all the shops, restaurants and attractions. The room was modern and clean with breakfast included and was close to everything.

For the price it is amazing. Less than 10 minutes walking to the town hall and the shop and restaurants area. Also, 10 min walk to the harbour and fortress. The room was really spacious. Bathroom was great. The breakfast was simple but what is needed. You can try park in the street, otherwise there is a big 24h Parking 5 min walk. I would say the only thing it was that we arrived on Monday, as we had to call someone to get access to the room. But after getting the door code, key was there and it was all easy.

Very beautiful small hotel with an even beautiful yard for coffee and breakfast! By the way breakfast was very tasteful from traditional recipes and local fruits and vegetables.A historical building and very helpful staff , in the heart of Heraklion. Definitely I will stay again there when I will visit the city again.

The room itself was great, only thing is could have had an extra bottle of shower gel. However the main issue was the door, the key needs to be inserted at a specific angle and turned very specifically. If not, you risk being locked out & waiting for help. Thankfully we only stayed one night. This is not a new thing, previous reviews have mentioned as well. No 24/7 reception in case u go out and get locked out. Emergency number available but we were asked "what did you do to the door". Anyway, if this is an issue for you, please find alternate hotels to stay in
