Super 8 by Wyndham Hernando

The room was large but dated. The overall facility, while clean, needs improvements. Should we pass through Hernando again, we would stay at the Super 8. The location is very convenient to the Main Street and is located very close to the highway.

Good and clean hotel for the price. The ladies at the reception were nice. The breakfast is very light with no protein: mainly cereals, cereal bars, yogurt, waffles and fruit.

Overall a good stay for the price. Very convenient location to restaurants and a kroger. Breakfast is very basic, so we went to McDonalds instead. The in room fridge is bigger than your usual with an actual freezer. My only complaint is when i went to open the soap, it was already open and an obvioisly used bar of soap was in it. Overlooked by housekeeping. Thankfully there were two soaps... overall it's fine for an affordable place to rest.

Arrived at 1 am after flying into Memphis and had to leave at 7 am, so I did not stay very long. Room and bed were fine for brief stay. Desk clerk was very nice and welcoming.

We've stayed at this hotel 5+ times on our way to New Orleans and unfortunately this will be our last. The hotel is convenient, the rooms are clean and wevw nwver had an issue with security. However this last stay was miserable as the beds for our family in 2 rooms were brick hard. Sleeping in our car would have been more comfortable.

I like the fact this property has a few smoking rooms. I didn't get one but that's something that you can't find very often. Coffee was great, breakfast was good. No protein like eggs or bacon, but has waffles and cereal. Room was huge. Bed was comfortable.

For a budget hotel, this Super 8 exceeded my expectations. Very clean, extensive (included) breakfast, comfy bed and friendly staff stand out. The only issue was that one can't explore the area (to get a bite, for example) without a car because it's so pedestrian-unfriendly. Great for a one-night stay to get off the adjacent interstate.

It was nice having a smoking room and after the initial blast of **** smell and opening a window it was just fine.

I stayed here due to inclement weather that would lead to unsafe driving conditions. The staff was limited due to people not being able to come into work. The owners of the property were cleaning rooms of those that checked out. I did my part by taking my own trash out and not asking for cleaning services. The limited staff there were always kind and helpful. You wouldn’t have known they were just trying to keep things going. Very impressed by their professionalism and dedication. Will stay there again.
