The room given to me was very spacious, clean, well equipped and specially the toilet plus shower facility was commendable as it gives you an extra natural impression. Nipun, his wife, his mother and the girl who helps with the day-to-day work were all very attentive to take care of my requests and always available instantly. Easy access to beautiful beach, shops and restaurants. Even if one of the previous clients mentioned about the train track closeness and the noise, I found it's quiet and had a very good peaceful sleep during my stay of three nights. Had I had more days available, I'd have stayed more. I had the pleasure of having their home cooked tasty meals which was very nice and cheaper. They recommended me a very good reputed JLH Restaurant for lobsters and that was remarkable. All and all, I had a very pleasurable stay at Tamara Motels. Would not stay any other place when I'm in Hikkaduwa again.

The place is more then great. We took the suit for 5000 rupi. The room is huge to large balconis, hot water, clean. And a special bathroom. The place is lovated next to mini markets and restaurants. And just across the Street from the ocean and turtle area. Excellent choice. P. S next to train railways so at 4 am we had a wake up call, but went back to sleep(:

We spent night here and it was perfect. Very clean rooms, nice area with shadows - protection from the sun. Morning breakfast was original - toast with omelet inside. Staff helped us a lot with sim card, money change and other trip advice. Thank you

Unbeatable price / quality In front of the beach Very friendly,professional and helpful people Bedrooms are very good equipped and the a/c works properly. Breakfast was algo good... It only cost 3 $ !!

The Tamara Motels,we just remember this name for the best place in Hikkaduwa. Before we went their we heard and read lots of comments and reviews about this motel. When we come over there we realized yes everything is true. We have stay for a three days for at this hotel. Stepping through the garden, i was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception area. Light, airy and very spacious...very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. This is a family business doing by mother son his wife and cute little baby. They always greeting and smiling to us. They are very helpful and give us the best option for everything we need. The breakfasts were amazing. It is not like other breakfast we had. Bread toast and omlet in it. Its very delicious.The location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to the tourists who want to go to Hikkaduwa. Will be back to this place soon..!!!

We are travelling couple, we stay for 7 days and feel like home from day 1! Nipun and his family are so frendly and welcoming thank You for everything! We had a lot of requests and they always help us with smile! About room, we get room no 1 and it was exactly what photos showing so big plus for that! Big room with huge bathroom and small kitchen if you want to save some money and cook by yourown! Place is spotless! Also they have showers outside if you want to clean yourself after beach. They also have restaurant if you want to try! If you looking something to feel like home not in hotel thats your spot! We will back there if we will be in Hikkaduwa again for sure!

It was a good stay! Location also nice. The food was excellent and the service was superb! The owner who was particularly helpful, accommodating and shared his knowledge about everything with us. Its amazing place to visit. We would visit your place again.. Cheers 🤗

Прекрасный маленький семейный отель. Жили на 3-м этаже. В номере холодильник, чайник, фен, кондиционер . Кровать удобная. На кухне (первый этаж), можно готовить. У владельцев можно взять байк на прокат. С террасы видели бурундуков, павлинов, обезьян, игуан. В 20-ти метрах ресторан “Red lobster”, очень вкусно готовят! До моря метров 100-150. Прекрасная тихая бухта. Черепашья ферма, большие черепахи здесь же. Один минус это железная дорога, если любите тишину, будет сложновато спать. Мы относились к этому терпимо. Шри-Ланка подарила массу эмоций! Отель рекомендую!
