Dreamland Maldives Resort

Świetnie się tu bawiłem z przyjaciółmi. Niektórzy kelnerzy byli doskonali, plaże wspaniałe, pokoje piękne, jedzenie było naprawdę dobre (w szczególności ryby!), A sprzątaczki jesteśmy przyjaźni i mili. To powiedziawszy, za cenę, której można by się spodziewać, tego i więcej. Jednak niektórzy pracownicy naprawdę sprawiali wrażenie, że ich to nie obchodzi. Zwłaszcza personel w recepcji po przyjeździe. Dwukrotnie nasza wycieczka łodzią została odwołana i nie starali się zadzwonić do naszych pokoi i nas znaleźć. Po prostu czekają, aż przyjedziemy do recepcji na wycieczkę. Były też inne rzeczy, ale za dużo jak na tę recenzję. Bardzo potrzebne są tam ulepszenia. Ośrodek otrzymuje również słabą ocenę za brak room service, dwie małe butelki wody pozostawione w pokojach dziennie oraz słabą komunikację przez ośrodek w celu zorganizowania hydroplanów przed przyjazdem. Jak na tak dużo kosztujący ośrodek - ulepszenia naprawdę nie są takie trudne i mogą sprawić, że będzie naprawdę wyjątkowy dla przyszłych gości 👍🏽

From the moment we stepped onto this island we had our every expectation exceeded. On arrival each couple was seated with one of the reservation team. I think our gentleman was Ahmed, he gave us an orientation of the island and was warm and welcoming. We were then escorted to our room by the room boy who took care of our room twice a day. The island is just stunningly beautiful and the ocean even more so. Highly recommend the trip to see the dolphins at sunset and the nurse sharks. Every member of staff on the island was polite and friendly. They work incredibly hard to make your stay as perfect as possible. Please if you can, leave reasonable tips. They never expect it but the service they provide is exceptional. The food was excellent and varied. The cocktails were strong and a nice selection was available. We stayed in a water villa and it had everything you need from shampoo to fly spray. Our villa 228 was absolutely perfectly situated on the ocean side. The water was like an aquarium from the moment you stepped in, and the drop off was close by, this was the perfect spot for snorkelling to see the beautiful Travely and roaming Reef Tips. The colours underwater were breathtaking. This place is truly a paradise. Don’t sweat the little things, just arrive, relax and everything will be perfect. Very average hotel. If you look for only a few nights stay and can find a good price deal on this hotel then go for it but lower your expectations. Positive was really beautiful house reef and lagoon and very friendly staff (apart from one reception guy). In our eyes this hotel deserves only 2* as it is located in Maldives but completely lacks Maldivian feeling, one star for friendly staff and second for the house reef. Now negatives: - All rooms are quite big but are feeling empty inside, chilling area and a sofa is missing. - Water villas (we had lagoon side - north) have no table on the huge balcony and only huge sun shade umbrella and two sunbeds without option to adjust their angles. Also any sitting chairs are missing on the balconies. With rooms you have to be generally lucky: the south side water bungalows have no access to house reef (there is stone wall built underneath the bridge) so you can only swim from there around all the villas. They also are located at the edge of the reef so you wont enjoy snorkeling there so much as you wont see anything in the deep ocean apart from ocean water... - Beach bungalows from what we have seen have better and worse locations - some of them gets constantly flooded, other have sandbags at their balcony doorsteps, other have no beach just a huge stones, from other you can only access beach by walking in front of your neighbor balcony, some have ok-ish location - AC in the room was not cleaned since ages, was leaking inside the room and was moldy giving us sickness for a few last days of our stay (we set it to 23-24 deg.) - Generally all staff members are very friendly apart from one guy in glasses working at reception (no idea about his name) - he is the front person of the hotel and seems he really doesn't care about his work, rude and unpleasant to talk to, lazy guy who plays on his phone each time you come to see him, also if you want something from him it is always a problem for him, his English is really bad and when you see him you just want to walk away. Rest of workers are friendly and chatty. - Staff is undermanned making you either see waiters running as quick as they can all the time when you try to enjoy your food, or you have to wait nearly 30 minutes for you ordered glass of Cola at the bar - Waiters comes to take your empty plate away when you partner still eats - Waiters comes to get you to sign the "bill" (although you are on AI) when you and your partner still eats - we have often situation they came with the bill to sign it when we were still in the middle of our meal! - Restaurants are serving dinner until 9pm, but if you come late they will almost kick you out at 9:05 pm and you will see a bunch of them running around you to prepare tables for the morning meal already - Beach bar has no beach feeling at all, Lake bar is a joke as it is full of mosquitos from every afternoon. Local mosquitos in Maldives can give you malaria or dengue fever - Inner island lake is completely unneces

I evaluate the experience in three different categories: - Overall services (food, bar, ...) - 5* - Rooms - 4* - The reef and the beach - 4* - Diving - 5* Overall the service quality is amazing. We spent 10 days between 21st Dec and 31st Dec and the we never wear shoes. The restaurant (buffet) has incredibly high quality. You can find a mix of international and Asian food. We had all inclusive treatment and even the quality of wine, and spirit was excellent. Rooms are really big. We had a small issue with air conditioning (difficult to set the right temperature) but apart for this they are really in a good shape. Huge bathroom with big shower and tab as well plus one external shower really big. Only negative issue was the pressure of water in the internal shower was not the best. Huge window in each room looking at the beach. Reef and beach. The reef unfortunately is not the best. Lot of fishes (including many sharks) but the coral is completely dead. Nearby you can find many different island with better reef (we did many dives in nearby island and even snorkeling). While snorkeling still you can find many fish Sharks, tourtle, Eagleray, Octopus, ... Despite not perfect is still very nice reef Joy Diving. We went to Maldives to dive and all the dives has been excellent. The instructor and the organisation were very friendly. As all the dives in maldives it is really expensive but we got a real 5 stars treatment.

What can i say, Dreamland is everything you could wish for in a holiday from the moment you arrive, excellent staff from reception to the restaurant and bars nothing is too much trouble and with a big smile too. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked again for April 2024.Big thanks to all the staff that made our holiday so good especially Yasin in the ocean view restaurant, look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Amazing place,very friendly and polite staff. The food was delicious, and I had a lot of variations . Bungalow was clean and tidy and good location ,comfortable bed. There was not a big choice of TV channels and quality, but it wasn't a big issue

Stunning Island. Stayed in a over water Bungalow. Swam with Sharks, turtles, rays daily. Biggest advantage is its close proximity to Hanifaru Bay to see the Manta Rays. We had the pleasure of snorkelling with over 50 Mantas and even a Whale shark. An experience we will never forget

Just arrived home after the most amazing stay at this resort. We opted for the sea plane option which we really enjoyed even after a very long trip from England! Great views and a fun experience. From the moment we got to the island we felt like we were in a spa. Everything here is so relaxed. I was initially anxious that I’d get bored in the evenings but I really didn’t. We took card games which we played most nights and there was a live singer 2 out of the 10 nights. We opted for a beach bungalow which we loved. We considered paying for 1 night in a water villa but we loved our room so much we decided to stay put. I preferred having the beach and loungers. The snorkelling is amazing- as are the trips. We saw sharks, mantas, eals, turtles, dolphins and even a whale shark. As we were all inclusive, the hotel also provided us flippers and snorkel masks which was great. Me and my partner are serious foodies and we were so impressed by the variety of food. It alternated every night that we were there which was great. There is something for everyone. What makes this place really stand out for me is the staff. Every single worker stops to say hello/good morning which was really lovely. Their service was excellent. One thing to note is the mosquitos. I packed 3 separate repellant sprays as well as mosquito bands and we used them all up during the stay. Since being back we have recommended this resort to so many friends and family. It was an incredible trip.

It is a beautiful and quiet island (depending on the volume of the other guests). There’s plenty of fish around the island to make snorkeling very interesting. The staff were very accommodating by letting is check in early and check out late. It was much appreciated. Communication with the staff was sometimes difficult. Before checking in, I emailed the staff to ask a couple of questions, but the reply was not very helpful. The same on check out. Also, the representative was not at the airport when we arrived for the seaplane transfer.
