After reading reviews for Bonsai Villa we thought it would be good but it has exceeded our expectations, an oasis of calm and tranquility, away from the hectic pace of the old town. Everyone here was very helpful, offering assistance and directions if needed, plus free (fairly old) bikes. Our ground floor room was clean, comfortable and spacious, with a small patio overlooking the coi carp pond and amazing bonsai tree courtyard, leading on to the pool area, much appreciated after a hot day out. Breakfast was pre-ordered, cooked fresh and nice too, with several egg and rice options plus fresh fruit. All in all, our favourite accommodation so far in Vietnam.

What a great place to stay. Our 5th visit to Hoi An and our 1st time staying at Bonsai Villas. Wished we had found this place sooner. Located in a quiet part of Hoi An away from the very busy areas with a ten minute walk to the markets. A very good daily breakfast with plenty of choices served by the lovely staff here. The pool is sparkling and the garden is a credit to Duc who tends to his wide variety of bonsais. Autumn is a delight to deal with, nothing is too much trouble for her. From arranging our tour, taking care of laundry and offering money changing. Her and her family have made us feel at home here and we look forward to our next stay. We extended our stay from 7 to 10 days.

Excellent location. Owner Autumn is very helpful. Rooms cleaned everyday and excellent value for money . Home cooked breakfast , at request. Lovely bonsai garden with swimming pool and maintained regularly . Staff always cheerful and courteous

Wonderful accomodation. Rooms are super clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is quiet but only a short walk to the Old Town. Great pool, lovely courtyard. Breakfast is fresh, yummy, served with a smile. Autumn and her husband are excellent hosts and will organize anything for you. Love this place

Warm, friendly family run homestay a short walk from the town centre of Hoi An. Each day starts with a simple but well cooked and presented breakfast. More than enough to kickstart your day. Rooms are again simple but cleaned and serviced daily. The best part about Bonsai is most definitely their kind and friendly owners who take care of everything from laundry to excursions and airport transfers. This was our second stay here and will definitely come again. Highly recommend!

The staff was extremely welcoming and attentive. Check in was fast and cordial. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. As soon as you walk in, you see the beautiful swimming pool in the courtyard and many bonsai trees. The architecture and furnishings are beautiful.
We stayed in the double family suite, which was huge for the three of us.
The hotel is in a great location just down the street from the main road of shops and restaurants.
Overall we just loved the Bonsai Villa and regretted leaving! We will stay again on our next trip, 5 stars are absolutely deserved!

Autum was a superb host and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived late at night. Quite location with a great pool and a comfortable bed. We had two adjoining rooms which was perfect for three adults sharing. Highly recommend Bonsai Villa.

The hotel was quiet and clean. The bonsai garden was beautiful and contributed to the tranquility of the hotel. Rooms, beds, and bathrooms were nice and AC worked all right. You can also borrow some decent bicycles (single gear only though) for free - quite ideal for exploring the sorroundings of Hoi An or just cycling around the city. Alltogether, good value for money :)

Very comfortable bed, luxurious shower, good breakfast, and lovely people. The hotel grounds are fantastic and unique, with exquisite bonsai, and the pool is pristine. It is also in a quiet residential area, but so close to town. Totally lived our stay.
