Hoi An Odyssey Hotel & Spa

We had an excellent 2-night stay at Odyssey Hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful - they gave us lots of local information when we arrived including a map of the area. They helped us to book tickets to the Memories show and to book a private car onto our next destination, for a very reasonable price. The laundry service was also very quick. We would especially like to mention Emily who was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and the pool area was so relaxing! We also booked a massage at the spa which was excellent. Our room was large, comfortable and cool. The location of the hotel is also very good - just a 10 min walk to the beautiful old town of Hoi An. We would definitely recommend Odyssey hotel and would love to visit again!

This medium sized hotel is just on the outskirts of the old town which is a very comfortable 5 minute walk away on flat ground. Situated in a lovely quiet area and perfect for relaxing, yet still being near the town. I’ve been to Hoi An a few times and this has been the best hotel I’ve stayed in so far, I am a solo female traveller. The hotel has a lovely family atmosphere and the staff are super friendly, welcoming and helpful, the manager is very professional and has a really good relationship with staff which reflects in the nice atmosphere around the hotel. I had a honeymoon suite which was very spacious, it had a lovely balcony with nice furniture, lovely to chill in the evening time, pity about the new resort being built in front of the hotel which does spoil the view but it’s not the hotels fault. I ate in the hotel a few times and it was delicious, good selection of Vietnamese and western food. Breakfast was lovely with a good variety of food. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby to choose from also. I didn’t use the pool, but the pool area is lovely to sit around during the day and sip on a cocktail if you just want to relax. I had an aromatherapy massage at the hotel which was the best massage I’ve ever had, I requested the therapist to be careful around areas I had injuries and she knew exactly how to treat the specific areas so I would highly recommend a treatment if staying here. The area is lovely to walk around and I was able to do a good 5k walk each morning and take a bike in the afternoon for a relaxing cycle to explore further afield. All in all, the hotel had everything I needed and I will definitely be booking when I return to Hoi An.

The hotel is sparkling clean, has a lovely pool and a very friendly staff. As others have noted it’s a 10-15 minute walk to the ancient town, but we were happy to be out of the chaos. I had a very good foot massage while there and we also liked the bar/restaurant. The only disappointment we had was that I had booked a honeymoon suite based upon the photo on the hotel website and the fact that it said there was a separate shower stall. Although our room was large and nicely appointed, it did not look at all like the website photo and most definitely did not have a separate shower. I did bring it to the attention of the manager who apologized and said he would update the website.

Excellent all round. We were greeted with friendly staff in particular Katrina from the outset. They were very welcoming, accommodating and informative. It was a quiet location which we liked and only a 10min walk to the markets. We had a 2.5hr Swedish and Reflexology massage at the hotel and they were outstanding. The best massage I've had. Impressive. We highly recommend Hoi An Odyssey Hotel and we would be happy to revisit.

Pretty good value. Had a welcome by a many legged creature when I opened the door to the room but hey..it’s the tropics.

Everything is very clean, all the staff members are lovely and the food is delicious. There is a shuttle service to the beach. It seams to be outside of the city, but we even walked it most of the time with our little children - no problem. Bikes are also available. Highly recommended!!

Great Hotel with really good amenities and a fantastic breakfast that was included. Very friendly and helpful staff who will arrnage tours, grabs and taxi's and nice location just out of the old Town but an easy and pleasant 10 minute walk around the river edge to access it.

Lovely quiet hotel, just across the river from Hoi An. An easy 10min walk from the centre. A slice of paradise. Staff wonderful, chatty and very helpful. Huge choice at breakfast, food excellent. Happy hour by the pool in the late evening a must. Good shuttle service to beach resort, nice place to chill for an agreeing by the beach. All in all a very comfortable stay. Best in Hoi An!

The staff really made this place. They were polite, welcoming and helpful. They checked in with guests throughout their stay to ensure things were going smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was delightful at the end of a day’s exploration and the bar was reasonably priced. We enjoyed the shuttle service to the day resort at An Bang Beach.
