Black out curtains ensure complete darkness for uninterrupted sleep and added privacy. The en-suite bathroom features a double vanity with ample counter space, and a shower-tub combo. The guest bedroom has blackout curtains, matching Twin beds, and a 32" television. The second full bathroom is just a few shorts steps away from the guest room. Lost/damage/unreturned items are subject to replacement fees.Most restaurants and shopping are within 2 miles or less. Guests are provided the basic essentials to begin their stay. This would include items such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, a selection of ground coffee with cream and sugars, and laundry detergent, just to name a few.**THE POOL IS CLOSED UNTIL JULY FOR REPAIRS***There is a community pool available for guests SEASONALLY. Pool towels are provided. NO GLASS PERMITTED IN THE POOL AREA. Access to the pool requires a key FOB. Do not allow access to individuals who do not have a key FOB to enter. There is an $80 replacement fee for lost/unreturned key FOB. There is a $20 replacement fee for lost/unreturned pool towels. The pool area is monitored by an HOA installed camera for security purposes. The HOST is not responsible for cameras or pool/pool house upkeep and maintenance.There is an HOA installed camera with license plate recognition located at the trash disposal area. Household trash only.**There is a $135 cleaning fee per stay that is applied upon booking. An additional $5 per night, per guest applies for reservations with more than two guests. Our dock will certainly be a favorite during the stay! The horseshoe drive way provides plenty of parking that will easily accommodate guests traveling with boats. There are 2 community boat landings, one is a 5 minute drive, the other is 10 minutes.2 bedrooms have queen beds, the 3rd bedroom has 2 twins. All mattresses are Zinus memory foam.The kitchen has butcher block countertops. The appliances excluding the electric range(but it’s in excellent condition) are brand new. The breakfast table seats 4, the dining table also seats 4.The kitchen is well stocked w: copper cookware. Silverware, cooking utensils, dishes, glasses(also for wine & mimosas) are plentiful. We truly thought of everything!The living room has an Italian leather sofa, a leather recliner, leather chair & wicker bench for extra seating. It is tastefully decorated for a true lake experience!There are 2 full baths. Linens, towels(beach towels as well), and hand-towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are all included.Washer/dryer, laundry detergent, fabric sheets, iron & ironing board are available.Guest accessThere is a storage shed where you will find bikes, grill, lawn chairs & 2 paddle boards. Cozy private getaway located on French Quarter Creek, within the Cooper River Watershed and adjacent to the Francis Marion National Forest. The cabin has been completely remodeled and is approximately 1,000 square feet with 2 bedrooms (1 queen and 4 singles in the bunk room) and 1 bathroom. The living room is loaded with windows and overlooks the backyard and French Quarter Creek. The cabin sits on almost an acre and is very private, being the last house on the road. The huge deck runs the width of the cabin and overlooks the creek. Off the beaten path, but close to everything. 10 minutes from Shipyard Park, 20 minutes from Mt Pleasant, 30 minutes from Daniel Island, and 45 minutes from downtown Charleston. There is a boat ramp on the property where you can launch your own boat, or paddle one of the kayaks we have on the property. You can fish right from the backyard, enjoy the fire pit and adirondack chairs, or just relax and enjoy the view. French Quarter Creek is fresh water, but tidal with 2 high tides and 2 low tides each day. Although beautiful, this is a blackwater creek with abundant wildlife including Alligators.
