Step off the deck to a large green space & let the kids run while you enjoy your coffee. One queen bedroom downstairs w/attached bath w/tub. Upstairs has a loft area with 2 twin beds and an open hallway to queen bed and full bath w/shower. A 3 minute drive to the square w/ restaurants, shopping and hiking trails.Note: no working fireplace. Deck chairs and umbrella are stored inside. Umbrella stand is outside and needs to be filled with water from outdoor faucet to function. Unit does not have AC, as most do not in Cloudcroft. The High End Luxury Cabin is up to 8 guests only. What guests love about our "High End Luxury Cabin" is that it gives our smaller families an experience in staying at a beautiful and comfortable home setting. Our beautiful, 2-bedroom cabin is spacious and well appointed. Includes: pool table (bring your own pool sticks), a Foosball table, 4 electric recliners, 2 leather recliners, a large screen TV with surround sound and high speed WIFI. Enjoy the oak dining table for 6 guests, plus, additional tables for 6. There is a new stainless-steel kitchen Hi- Tech style. It is considered a compact kitchen with a deep single sink, refrigerator, electric range, microwave, coffee maker, cookware and so much more. Please note: The kitchen is for 1 or 2 chefs at a time. It is considered "compact". All dishes will be washed by hand, no dishwasher, no garbage disposal, no washer/dryer is available. Host suggests that you bring paper goods, such as plates, cups, so that you will have an easier clean-up. Otherwise, there are plenty of dishes. For your outdoor experience we just built a large deck for picnicking and propane barbecue. Free off-street parking at the lower entrance for 3 vehicles . Host can make additional parking available for ATV's and trailers. Please message the host if you need this additional parking.This cabin backs up to the Lincoln National Forest. Simply walk around to the side of the house, and step into the cool pines. We have wildlife right up to the back yard. Likely, you will see elk, deer, wild horses, small critters and bats. Please keep the doors and windows closed . IMPORTANT: You are renting the lower floor of a 2-story home. The upper floor of the home is not included when renting the "High End Luxury Cabin". You may rent the entire home under the name of the "Woodlands Chalet", for up to 17 guests. For your privacy and security, the staircase is locked from the upper floor. We do have exterior cameras, motion activated. The entire home upper and lower levels have exterior cameras for the safety of our clients. (motion, video, recording) We do not rent the upper floor when we have guests in the lower cabin. Please remember, there are NO PETS allowed on the property or in the cabin or kept in your vehicle. No smoking or drugs in the cabin. Smoking cigars or cigarettes on the front lower deck is acceptable. Please use the small hanging sand bucket for disposal of your butts. Please also note: The forest is dry, and we are under high alert for fires, during the summer. No open fires are allowed. The propane grill is ok, if attended at all times. Please read our reviews. You cannot assign or gift the reservation.There is a $25.00 per dog/per stay fee, We do this to make sure our cleaning crew takes the extra time to make sure your dog has a safe clean and hygienic place to sniff, lick, lay , sit and stay! And so future dogs have the same opportunity Please agree to the guidelines for bringing a dog.The dog must be 1 year old or older and house trained.1. If left unattended we ask that you ensure your dog(s) won't be at risk of damaging any property inside and your dog(s) may not to be left out on the porch. 2. Please do not use the blankets provided as a covering over the furniture or bedding.3. Pick up your dogs waste immediately after it's done and dispose of it in the dumpster outside on the corner.4. Welcome to our charming cottage cabin nestled in the Village of Cloudcroft, NM! This newly spruced up cabin is located at the top of the mountain and is walking distance to the golf course, The Lodge, and downtown. Spend your time relaxing inside or enjoy some fresh air on the porch overlooking the pine trees on the property - you’ll usually even see some deer and elk! The cabin has WiFi, two smart TVs, a wood burning fireplace, washer and dryer, and a cozy modern decor! NO HEAT or central AC, but the cabin warms up nicely with with fireplace and blower, as well as provided space heaters. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of cooking supplies and dishes, a gas stove and oven, a full size fridge and freezer, and a large table to enjoy your meals.Each bedroom has new Queen mattresses and a dresser to put your clothes away. The master bedroom has a large closet and a full size washer and dryer for laundry and the second bedroom has a Roku Smart TV. After a long day of hiking/golf/exploring downtown you can come back to the cabin and relax on the couch in front of a fire with a movie (Ruke Smart TV), play a game, start a puzzle, or relax outside!Cloudcroft is a beautiful small town in the mountains of New Mexico - summer temperatures are usually in the 70s during the day. Plenty of level off street parking for 4 vehicles or 2 vehicles and a trailer. No parking in the street or blocking the dumpster. That’s located across the street. Deck has a gas grill. No personal gas grills or cookers-shall be brought onto property. No coolers brought inside the cabin. Please leave all coolers outside on the back deck. Do not bring coolers into the cabin or on front steps. Coolers are causing damage to concrete steps and damage inside the cabin. No processing of animals or fish on property. Quiet time 10 pm to 8 am. This is a family neighborhood. Please respect the neighbors. No parties or loud music. No inside or outside smoking this includes marijuana. Garage not included in rental. Firewood is not provided. So please don’t borrow the neighbors firewood. Daytime guests will be counted as guests. If you have family or friends that are camping, staying at another property etc. and need to do laundry, shower or visiting but aren’t staying the night. They count as guests, and will need to be added to the booking. If unbooked guests arrive your reservation will be canceled without a refund. Outdoor cameras in use. Including doorbell.
