Our condo is a luxurious vacation rental property located right on the water in the gated April Sound Community off Highway 105, centrally located near popular waterfront dining and nightlife as well a nearby boat launch. Recently remodeled this stunning unit can easily accommodate up to 11 guests and is within close distance of numerous fun activities and recreational facilities available for guest use within the community including a terrific country club, gym, swimming pool, fine dining, golf, and more. Tie your boat or rental on the pier just steps outside the patio or even get your rod and reel and go fishing right behind the condo on the pier! Take in the gorgeous lakefront views while you relax in the living room, kitchen and loft or have a glass of wine on the back porch as you are only steps away from beautiful Lake Conroe!This spacious 1,648 sq ft condo consists of 2 bedrooms, a loft and 2.5 baths and is perfect for a group of friends and family of 11 comfortably. The main floor consists of the spacious Master bedroom with a King size bed, walk in closet, 50” TV, accent chair, separate hallway sink and large bathroom with shower. It also offers a spacious living room with sofa and love seat, 50” TV with DVD player and spectacular views of the lake! The newly renovated kitchen is stocked with all kitchen basics including dishware, cups, utensils, pots/pans, toaster, coffee pot/coffee/tea and much more. Enjoy a nice family dinner on the large farmhouse table with 4 chairs and a bench that can easily seat 8+, as well as a separate table in the breakfast nook containing 3 chairs or at the bar which also has 4 bar stools. Everyone will have plenty of room to sit! The beautiful kitchen connects to the large back porch which features a cushioned seating area and table, a gas grill and view of the water. A great place for you to relax and enjoy family time while taking in the beautiful views of the lake!!The second floor leads you to Bedroom #2 with 2 Queen beds, chair, 50” TV and Jack and Jill bathroom connected to the Loft. Our Unit B is the lower-level of our home (studio) with keyless entry door on backside of property. Upon arrival you may park in left spot beneath car port, then take walkway to left of the house and access door off back lower-level patio. This unit sleeps 4, with one queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. You are welcome to enjoy our swimming pool, which you will access via back fence gate. Please note the pool is shared and utilized by 3 of our rental units: Unit A (upper level of this home), Unit B (studio), and the adjacent property, our Cozy Barn. We are so close to Lake Conroe, there is a boat ramp in the neighborhood, and a boat pass is available upon request! We have a circular drive for your boat or trailer and room to unhitch, if you like. The yard is completely fenced in, when all gates are closed, so it's good for your pups, but please be prepared with a leash for your dog(s) because if we have guests staying in our Unit A upstairs, they may have a dog(s) too, so please be respectful and considerate.If you are planning a small social gathering during your stay, but guests paid for and disclosed at time of booking will be the only overnight stays, we do still require notification and approval prior to check-in, and additional fees per person 'may' apply depending on the number of additional people expected to enjoy this accommodation with you for your gathering. Again, we do allow social gatherings and want everyone to have a great time, but we do REQUIRE NOTIFICATION PRIOR TO CHECKIN and the Host's final approval. This is a non-negotiable requirement as we do have a 2nd Unit on this property, Unit A (the upstairs of our home).While staying with us, you also have access to the Host’s main property in the neighborhood two blocks away that sits on 5 acres totally fenced in and gated with a private, well-water cooled swimming pond, sand volleyball, corn hole, horseshoes, outdoor grills, etc. There are also two (2) 100 lb. tortoises that can be seen roaming the property or grazing in their corral next to swimming pond. Welcome to the Cedar Shack! This property is unique in many ways. It's tucked away a bit, yet conveniently located near Lake Conroe. Our home sleeps a total of 6 people with 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, as well as a sofa/couch in living room for extra guests. The 2nd bedroom (or sleeping area) is located in the loft. The living room sofa has been reported as not the best for sleeping, so should you have an additional guest or two, you may consider requesting a queen air mattress prior to check-in. There are smart TVs in all rooms. Guests also have access to host’s 5 acre main property a couple blocks away w/ a private swimming pond, sand volleyball, corn hole, horseshoes, etc.This property is totally fenced in, when all gates are closed, and we have an additional fenced in area to the right of the house to put your pups, when gates are opening and closing.There is also a 2nd Unit on property next to our Cedar Shack home called The Side Pocket that sleeps 4 guests with a queen bedroom on 2nd level, plus a sofa bed downstairs next to the pool table and kitchenette. The Side Pocket can be an add-on to your Cedar Shack reservation to accommodate family / friends.
