Regal Riverside Hotel

We had a wonderful time spending New Year’s weekend at this hotel. We arrived early and requested river view rooms which they happily kept for us till 3pm check in. The view was wonderful and the room was modern. The housekeeping staff were very accommodating even with the language barrier. The restaurants in the hotel were quite expensive but there are other options around. All in all a good stay and great location close to the Sha Tin / Sha Tin Wai metro stations.

I found the service to be lacking during my stay, as repeated attempts to reach an operator for assistance went unanswered. This was frustrating and made my experience less than satisfactory. Additionally, the room itself felt quite old and in need of updates. The furniture and decor appeared worn and did not provide the comfortable or welcoming atmosphere one would expect.

Nice hotel with peace location and plenty of cuisine.

So far so good, but the room is so nice, tidy and large and the view is beautiful, the price is affordable.

Booked a standard room through trip.com for 8 days because there was renovation work at home. We were given a bigger room than the size for a standard room. It was so run down and the smell from the pipe in the toilet was terrible and unbearable. We asked to change to a standard room and was told if we would stay in a similar room than a standard room, we need to top up HKD350. More money for another run down room? No way! We ended up in a standard room which is smaller and is meant to be more modern. But everything is rusty and dusty like it has been vacant for years before we went in. When we changed the room, I was told we needed to move everything ourselves. No service except for a trolly. I think Regal Riverside Hotel is the worst within the group. The service, facilities and cleaning standards are close to a 2* hotel. Run down and dirty are the impressions of all😓😓😓

This is a great location. Local delicacies are nearby. You can enjoy lake view from the room. Good room service. Thank you Cindy! I will return.

Very convenient and comfortable place ❤️❤️❤️ have a spacious room complete all the necessities and luxuries like tiny fridge and have coffee sets perfect 😍

Excellent Hotel! The room was very comfortable and quite spacious. Everything quite clean. The hotel staff was quite friendly. I think it needs a little maintenance, but overall it is very good. The metro/train station is very close. There are many local restaurants in the area where you can eat well. The price-quality ratio is very good. Recommended.
