Garden View Hong Kong

Close to the peak and hongkong central. But the place is not easy to find and the way to the hotel is pretty steep. Not recommended if you're with kids or elderly people.

Had stayed with the Garden View at their garden view room before but this time didn’t manage to get that. It’s a slightly smaller room, but still good value for money and location is supreme.

Spacious, clean and very accessible. I’ll definitely be back and choose Garden View again on my next Hong Kong trip hopefully next year.

Good place - cosy clean and spacious for Hong Kong. Bedsheets are clean, the view from the window is great. The hotel is uphill - take a taxi if you have heavy luggage. Will stay here again!

The area where the hotel is located is on a hill, so a good workout when you walk to the hotel. The housekeeping service was only replacing towels with no cleaning or organizing of the room. The front desk staff were basically robots with no emotions. No smiles or thank you. Just doing their job.

I have stayed here a number of times. And would always give a positive review. However this time I was given my room. No hot water, no working safe. In fairness the staff did move me to a “better” room, it had a city view. Though if I had wanted a city view I would have booked one. This room the safe did work, but still no hot water. I did finally get hot water later in the evening. The hotel gave no reason as to why there was no hot water. There was to be hot water disruption, with notices posted on 29th April, but nothing at all about 26th 27th and 28th. The duty manager was completely unaware of the hot water issues. This is though an excellent location, very very clean rooms.

staffs are awesome. Clean and nice. But it’s under construction at the moment. 9-6 can be noisy

Stayed here a few times. A nice quiet hotel in mid-levels with Botanical garden nearby. Rooms are spacious with great city view. Front desk staff are friendly and most helpful. Basic amenities are provided but bottled water is not complimentary.

Everything was ok, but not walkable in term of distance. One of the 3 nights that we stayed, the staff didn’t make our beds.
