Regency on Beachwalk Waikiki by OUTRIGGER

After booking the Regency and arriving we were a little shocked at the room. It didn't look like the photos on the website. The bedroom was a little tight with only 1 lamp and 1 bedside table. I walked on the carpet and it was soaked we had to ask for a carpet drier to dry it out which took a few days, as you can imagine it was very noisy so we only had it on when we went out. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet as we were on the 9th floor. The balcony was nice to have breakfast and to watch the Friday night fireworks. The couch was comfortable but dirty. The bathroom was a good size, shower was good the sink was very hard to use due to the shape and the small tap, this is a very bad design. The pool at their sister property was nice and refreshing. We paid close to $3000 for 5 nights, I expected a little more as the last time we stayed in Hawaii we stayed at the Outrigger where the pool is located and it was much nicer.

We had a suite for my two children, their spouses and babies at this condo. The suite was a perfect size for four adults and two babies with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. My wife planned this trip over a year in advance and all went well. I do have to give a shout out to Zach and Marjury for accommodating us with some special services and parking for our three nights stay on Waikiki Beach🌴. I highly recommend this location next to the Outreach Rigger Reef hotel. Enjoy!! Aloha 🌺🌺🌺

While this condo lacks the great views of the beach that many desire, it offers a great stay. We aren't the kind to sit around in a condo. We are an out and about crew. It's a two minute walk to Waikiki Beach (the condo has beach chairs to take with you), and a five minute walk from more than a dozen great eating establishments. The bedrooms are very comfortable, easy to keep cool, and the bathroom was super nice. My wife loved the washlet in the bathroom. I had plenty of places to run along the beach and down what I called "the magnificent mile" (high dollar stores). I would stay here again without question!

We recently had an extended stay at The Regency and had a wonderful time there. Although we arrived quite late at night, we were warmly greeted as we got out of our taxi and were helped with bringing our luggage into the lobby. Checking in was quick and simple. We rented a 1-bedroom unit. The units are rather dated and on the smaller side but as there was only two of us, it was adequate and the rooms were clean. The unit consisted of a kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator, a 4-burner cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and other sundry items. (Having a longer stay, it would have been nice to have a stove).There was also a kitchen table with four chairs. The bathroom had a large shower and toiletries were provided - soap, shampoo, etc. A comfortable queen-sized bed was in the bedroom together with plenty of storage. There was a sofa bed in the living room plus an additional chair. Another table with four chairs could be found on the lanai - a good place to eat lunch and watch the activity below or even to watch the Friday night fireworks display. Because we were there for a longer period, we had weekly housekeeping services. For shorter stays, no one enters the unit, however, if additional items are needed (sheets, towels, soap, etc.) or garbage needs to be removed, it just takes a simple call to the front desk. There is onsite paid laundry on Floors 2 & 7. The current cover photo for the condo showing a big swimming pool is deceptive as there is no pool on site. The pool shown is at the Outrigger Reef, a block away which can be used by anyone staying at the Regency. We didn’t use the pool but it looks lovely and is only a short walk away. It is no more than a 5-minute walk to the beach which is accessible by a pathway beside the Reef. The hotel is located near numerous restaurants, coffee shops and other shopping. The main Waikiki area is a short walk away. Even the far end where the Zoo and Kapi’olani Regional Park are located is only some 15 minutes and walking there is a great opportunity to watch the surfers and the beach volleyball players. Without a doubt, the number one highlight of our stay has to be the wonderful service we received from everyone from the housekeeping ladies to the maintenance fellow. The most exceptional service, however, was from all of the front desk staff. Any enquiry or issue we had was dealt with immediately in the most friendly and efficient manner. I don’t think we’ve had better service from any hotel staff anywhere at any time. Just one of many examples - they went out of their way to make sure we could have a late checkout due to our late night flight home. Kudos to everyone. Would I stay there again? In a heartbeat.

This property provides ideal access to the beach as well as the Waikiki *****. It’s a quiet tucked away location surrounded by unlimited dining options and is perfect for family stays. Convenience stores, malls and drugstores are close. One can walk to most places in a few minutes.

This review is for unit 34. Overall, I had a good stay and would stay here again if I visit. My metric for hotel review is: 1. Quiet, especially at night since I am light sleeper. I always bring ear plugs when I travel just incase I stay in a noisy room. For this trip, I did not have to use it. 2. Clean, goes without saying So as long as it satisfies the two requirements above, then I'm good. The room is well kept and clean. I didn't find dirty or nasty areas. The place did NOT smell either. I was afraid that since it is an old building, there might be some odor from bathroom but luckily there wasn't. Parking is not free. They charge $40 a day for parking fee. It's a 5 minute walk to Waikiki beach. This is a good location, as it is close to: 1. Long ***** 2. Lahaina Shave Ice 3. Ramen Nakamura 4. Henry's Place

My family and I just stayed here and I'm writing this as we leave. When we checked in, Jacque and Z went above and beyond to make sure we got checked in, got everything we needed, and while we were there, made sure we were comfortable with everything. Thank you so much!! Highly recommend!!

We had a travel agency book this hotel for us-it was marketed as a family friendly hotel and as a suite. It was on a side street, with nothing family friendly about it, the ‘suite’ was tiny and the lay out was awful. The tv’s did not work and the room was filthy. We checked in and left an hour later to a hotel down the road. We never got an any sort of resolution to our frustrations, the manager never followed up, either. I would absolutely not recommend

While the staff are very nice the condo needs a lot of work. The bathroom walls are peeling. The couch and chair are filthy dirty and the mattress to the bed and sleeper should be replaced. The parking spaces are very limited. No housekeeping available unless an extra fee is paid, you are expected to empty the trash cans and place the bags in the dumpsters which are outside the building.
