Surrounded by a large park, Youth Hostel Richterswil is set right on the shore of Lake Zurich, 500 metres from the railway station. The disabled-friendly hostel has a restaurant, a sun terrace and free Wi-Fi access. The simply furnished dormitory rooms offer scenic views of the lake. Todo estuvo super cool buena atención en recepción, una vista hermosa, instalaciones limpias y lindas... Solo que no hay restaurant ni bar como en el resto de estos Hostel... De resto todo ok...

The hostal is situated just in front of the Zurich lake. Beautiful surroundings.The rooms very clean and the breakfast full.

Great scenic location. Good rooms and local amenities.
Breakfast incredibly unsustainable, a lot of meat and dairy is provided- sad news for the animals and the planet. However there were some vegan options.

Die Lage direkt am See ist genial: Schwimmen im Zürichsee, Pedalo_Miete, riesige Wiese, toller Spielplatz, Beizli... Ideal für Familien. Die Jugi (schöne umgebaute ehemalige Seidenfabrik) ist etwa 3 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Stabile, bequeme Doppelstockbetten. Bei offenem Fenster hört man den Zug. Die WCs und Duschen auf der Etage sind auch sauber und wie die ganze Jugi modern renoviert. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich und fein. Brot (keine Brötchen/Gipfeli), Konfi, Butter, etc. und auch Käse, Aufschnitt, Ei, Müesli und so weiter. Natürlich auch Saft und guten Kaffee gibt es. Ein Kühlschrank und eine Mikrowelle stehen für Gäste zur Verfügung. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal da und kommen gerne wieder!

Eine Jugendherberge mit Stil Gerne kommen wir wieder die Zimmer sauber das Personal mega nett Einzigstes Manko das Frühstück wenn um 8 Uhr man kommt ist nichts nachgefüllt.das Brot Angebot is dürftig und könnte echt mehr sein vllt auch mal Brötchen oder so ….

Tolle Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, sauberes Haus, tolle Zimmer, gepflegte und saubere Sanitär-Räume, reichhaltiges und vorzügliches Frühstück, unkompliziertes Buchen, an- und abreisen. Als Jugendherbergemitglied sage ich: wir kommen wieder.

Bien mais plage à côté bruyante jusqu’à minuit (feux d’artifices et pétards, peu respectueux de l’auberge à côté où les gens dorment ou essaient de dormir !
