To wspaniały hotel, w którym można poczuć historię Danii. W piwnicy znajduje się również spa, w którym można odpocząć. Widok z pokoju jest również świetny i można dobrze odpocząć. W pobliżu znajduje się także Muzeum Sztuki Luizjany, co czyni go doskonałą lokalizacją. Możesz zdobyć doświadczenie, które można przeżyć tylko tutaj.

Jeśli masz w okolicy jakiś biznes, jesteś parą lub grupą i szukasz romantycznego i królewskiego otoczenia, mogę polecić to wyjątkowe miejsce. Zamek niczym dwór, zabytkowe wnętrza i przemiła obsługa sprawiają, że pobyt u nas jest bardzo udany. Zatrzymałem się w aneksie/budynku pensjonatu, który oferuje wygodne pokoje, a z „tajnego” przejścia w piwnicy jest bezpośredni dostęp do spa i głównego budynku, gdzie zjesz wysokiej jakości śniadanie. Już dawno nie czułem się tak wyjątkowo i nie spałem tak dobrze.

Pozytywne rzeczy to lokalizacja i okolica zamku, a także cisza. W przeciwnym razie w przypadku hoteli pri i 4-gwiazdkowych występowało kilka problemów: mały pokój i brak funkcjonalności w projektowaniu łazienki. Brak kawy i herbaty w pokoju. Dodatkowa opłata za późne wymeldowanie, dodatkowa opłata za basen/spa według godziny. Czas na basenie mijał, bo brakowało ręczników, a szafki na klucze nie działały. Strefa spa jest w porządku z basenem i sauną, ale podstawowa. Miał być dostępny garnek, ale nie został ponownie napełniony ani nie było szklanek. Wieczorem nie było możliwości zjedzenia posiłku (najbliższa restauracja była 3 km od hotelu. Śniadanie ok, ale za dopłatą za inne napoje niż kawa filtrowana lub omlet lub naleśniki.

The fresh oysters were fantastic and the Pavlova was delicious!

Stayed overnight at Kokkedal castle and booked a single deluxe room in a main building. Ample parking space and smooth check-in experience, however, upon entering my room, the key didn’t work so I need to run down and ask for a check to get it active again, and it did. The room was good enough for solo traveler. The lighting in the room giving a warm tone and I get a room with fantastic view over the golf course and a peek of the ocean. A good single size bed and comfortable linens. I had a goodnight sleep. Do bear in mind, as it’s a historical building that’s dated from 1700s, therefore their fixtures could make a little noise and watch your head for low sections wall in the room. The forest in the surrounding however, definitely worth a trail and it’ll leads you down to a nearby Rungsted harbor where you can find local restaurants, local beach and Karen Blixen museum. The breakfast room located in their cellar and the buffet is sufficient enough to give you some energy to start your morning. Overall, it was a good overnight stay and would like to try their spa facilities or perhaps their bigger room next time. If you have an appreciation of historical places, then this is one of a place worth a visit.

The limited staff were friendly and willing but there weren’t enough of them.
The decor in our room was dark & gloomy, the bathroom was tiny and dark. The basin was too low and the faded brass taps etc made it look v old fashioned.
I thought we were to stay in the main building but we were in a barrack like building adjacent to it surrounded by unfinished pathways that looked shabby. The driveway is v untidy with stables and horsey bits and pieces littered about. The main building has flaking paint and missing plasterwork. There are unfinished flower beds and ****s all over the driveway. Outside tables need cleaning and ashtrays need emptying.
The location is excellent as Louisiana Gallery is just up the road, but I wish we’d stayed in the city.
All in all we felt the whole place could be magnificent with a revamp. I’d be happy to help to cheer it all up.
None of the above is the fault of the v nice staff but it was a depressing atmosphere and such a disappointment.
Good luck in the future, I hope improvements can be made.

The hotel is on beautiful grounds, its an easy train ride from the airport with a scenic path to the water. It was so serene and quiet you could hear when people walk by outside on the gravel. We had stayed when their restaurant was closed, but we great food at the golf club nearby, and had one of the tastiest hotel breakfasts we've had on our trip. Staff was friendly to us and gave us great tips and suggestions.

We enjoyed the little hotel great breakfast close to everything rooms are small and maybe should include some English channels on the tv but overall we enjoyed our stay plenty of cafes right outside our hotel
