We returned to the hotel after a long break due to covid. The hotel was excellent in changing our reservations due to the continued covid and travel restrictions. We paid a bit extra for a deluxe room with sea view and although the hotel is not cheap, it is right on the seafront and only a few minutes walk to the bars, restaurants, city centre etc. There is even a bus stop close to the hotel if you want to travel from the airport without getting a taxi. A warm welcome from the staff, a clean and modern room with a view of the sea. The breakfast buffet is very good. We did not take dinner but walked to a pedestrian area with lots of eateries. The hotel restaurant looks good and was usually busy, but we did not see much on the menu to attract us. Perhaps next time. Overall excellent but we do have a couple of tiny tiny comments. ASometinmes the tea/coffees were not topped up in the room. There are not enough hangers in the wardrobe and no hooks on the backs of any doors so you could hang coats, robes etc. None of these items spoit the holiday break and we will go again.

The hotel was fine, check in was smooth and hassle free, just as the check out. The Receptionist at check out (Silvia) was very helpful and managed to pull my Marriott Bonvoy subscription although I didn't have my membership card number with me, unfortunately as my booking was done by travel agency, I didn't get the points for that stay (5 days) 😔😕. The rooms were quite spacey, shower was decent but no bathtub (not a big deal) but there were a balcony which was a plus 😍 In room : Biggest problem was the Air conditioning (stuck at 24 C) we were told that this was as per regulations for EU power consumption. And there were no Iron as well. Breakfast was quite OK for me, but I have seen much better in 5 Star hotels. The location of restaurant with sea view was wonderful. The Bar was just next to reception desk... At night it was very loud (one can hardly hear a conversation with his fellows once passing by that area) also the smell was not favorable (specially if you are not into alcoholic beverages ). Elevators were not fully operational, and at certain times one had to wait for 5 minutes to get into it. All in all the stay was pretty good and I enjoyed it a lot

First of all, the hotel building is very pretty, the rooms are neat, and the interior is pretty.
The staff are kind enough to take you to your room, and the truffle omelet you eat on the terrace on the 1st floor is delicious 🤍 I love it 🤍

The hotel is easy to find. You can take the tram from the airport to the terminal and then walk for a while. The front desk also received us warmly and friendly. Although the elevator is very small, I don't think it will affect it. In fact, it is a different experience. After all, the age of the hotel is there. The view from the balcony is really amazing! Angel Bay is really beautiful! Especially if you book a French breakfast in advance and enjoy it on the balcony, it is really pleasant! Although the facilities in the room are a bit old, the sanitary environment is still very good, so the overall experience is really good!

Loved the view from the room and rooftop! Me and my bf stayed for 3 nights last week. Was amazing! All the staff were very kind and helpful. The most enjoyable part was the view while we were having breakfast at the top floor. Breakfast buffet was ok and they serving dinner in the same room as well.

We stayed here in July. Booked two rooms - a superior room facing the promenade and a regular room with a city view. The sea facing room had a fantastic view but very tiny. The regular room was on the 5th floor. Had views of the mountains/hills and was massive. I was so worried prior to checking in given the bad reviews here. I noticed though that for some reason most Nice hotels have bad reviews! I had nothing to worry about at all. We arrived before 2PM and had our room right away. No issues with rude staff whatsoever. And no noise issues with the sea-facing room either. The only issue is it's a bit of a walk to the Old Town and the train station (uphill and doing this twice a day is quite tiring). But seriously I was in Nice for a week and I don't think I'll trade his hotel for any other hotel. Nice, further up closer to the train station, wasn't quite as ”charming and lovely” as having views of the promenade.

Super location within walking distance to just about everything. Nice acknowledgment of platinum IHG status by getting upgraded to 7th floor executive room with what sounds like more space than a standard. Beautiful view of Nice’s architecture. Appreciated the bathrobes! Even an iron with ironing board. Windows opened for plenty of fresh air. Hotel seemed full but was never overly busy, especially elevators. Front desk staff very helpful. A big terrace at the front of the hotel has a good combo of shade/sun. Guests can have breakfast, lunch (i think) or drinks out there, tho dinner was not being served while we were visiting. Our only suggestion is to offer 2 standard levels of breakfast; the 20-euro buffet gets to be a bit much if staying for several days. We asked for a coffee and croissant option which the dining staff agreed to give us for 10 euros apiece. But it would be more comfortable to have a standard continental breakfast offered that didn’t need to be negotiated. We don’t need so many calories at breakfast!

The hotel is well priced and convenient for the airport. Compared to the old airport hotels it’s a million times better! Two downsides; For a Crowne Plaza the gym is small and lacks free weights. But all equipment is new One thing I really don’t get is there is no English TV offering. Most hotels of this type would offer the normal BBC, SKY and CNN offering as a minimum. While not a massive issue, it is quite annoying.

A fantastic hotel with many great activities. The hotel has a fantastic location nearby the airport l'm not very far from the City Center, Radisson Blu Nice has its own pool and beach satisfy all your needs whether you like a calm family, friendly beach, or a pool with a fresh drinks and the restaurant.

Welcoming staff when we arrived, shown to our room to have a really nice room. We noticed shortly after that we could hear conversations happening next door to us and the smallest of noise we’d be able to hear! The walls are really thin and we were kept up a couple of times trying to get to sleep! We noticed a dripping sort of noise when someone tried using the shower which got on our nerves a bit. In the morning we got woken up to a blender as we were opposite the breakfast room the gap under the door didn’t really help that! Such a shame to lower the rating due to the noisy room as it is in a ideal location for walking over the city and easy to get to from the airport.

GGuest UserExcellent stay at the Sheraton Nice Airport, in France Côte d'Azur, for a short relaxing holiday under the sun. This hotel is very modern, built in glass and overlooking the airport with its runways. Location is good because you can take the bus or the tramway to every spot of the city of Nice, or catch the train from St. Augustin railway station, just 5 min walking, to other villages of the Côte. Check in experience was very smooth and professional, they upgraded my room to the Club Level as per Marriott Bonvoy Titanium membership, along with breakfast and Lounge access. The room itself was very nice and large, with big windows facing the tram route but very very quiet, no noise during the night. There were a huge TV and a comfortable double bed, kettle and coffee machine. Very good restautant for breakfast and a la carte dinner, not a huge selection but tasty dishes and very nice personnell, trés sympa! On the top floor there is a beautiful terrace (with swimming pool during the season) overlooking the airport and the sea behind it, where you can suntan. On the other hand, Club Lounge service and offerings could be improved to be up to Marriott standards in Europe. A big plause to the young and professional staff!

GGuest UserThis was my 4th visit to Ajoupa and my 5th visit to Nice. What I particularly appreciate about the accommodation is its comfort, and discretion, which many hotels lack. It’s like having your own apartment in Nice! The location could not be more central- you walk out of the front door right into the unique atmosphere of Nice. I had not travelled since the airport tram was introduced, and from Terminal 2, the Tram delivers you to Jean Médecin in a little over 25 mins - then you reach Ajoupa in 5 mins. Once you check in you are left to your own devices…everything you need is within walking distance, and 3 mins after leaving the front door you find yourself in the magnificent Place Masséna. Gare Nice Ville is an easy walk, and during my short visit I went to Villefranche, Menton and Antibes. I walked to Villefranche ….a beautiful walk. All the team at Ajoupa are charming and very helpful with local knowledge and information. I work in the hospitality sector, and this is how hospitality should be done. I particularly enjoy this place as a solo traveller, but I also think Nice itself is a fantastic location for the solo traveller. You can just get lost in the bustle of the city. It is a fabulous place, I love it very much, and Ajoupa is the perfect accommodation for my love affair with Nice to continue.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for our last day in Europe before returning to Canada. The hotel staff were wonderful. We arrived on a Sunday and were given the last room. It turned out to be huge by Europe standards with a balcony. The hotel seems to be recently upgraded. They arranged a driver for a 5 am airport ride. The location is great- right near the old Town a d the scenic beach walk with the legendary blue beach chairs of Nice.

GGuest UserCheck in was easy and friendly. We waited at their beach area. Pretty dirty compared to the other ones we went to in the area but less expensive. It's cheaper to get your beach tickets at the front desk. Cash only. The room was nice. We even sent laundry out and had it back by the next afternoon. Top Notch. It can get noisy outside, there was an event in the park. Location is amazing. Easy drop off and uber pick up area. Lovely breakfast til 10:30pm. My only complaint seems silly but it was the hair dryer. Whoever sold that to you should be ashamed. I am assuming it is environmentally friendly. So for me it was b/c I just couldn't use it and gave up,

Ssulp298We arrived via taxi after a flight down from Paris. The hotel was fully booked between Cannes film festival and People going to see the Monica Grand Prix. Our room was not ready, but we were told we could go to the rooftop for lunch. We did that and proceeded to be ignored by the rooftop staff. We finally corralled someone who said they stopped serving food at 2:30, so we left the hotel to find something else. Later when our room was ready we told the front desk about it and it was news to them. Then when we decided to go back for dinner on the roof, we were told that dinner did not start until 7:00, so they called up and made us reservations. When we arrived at 7:00 the place was packed and the only tables had no view. We asked and were told that people come for drinks starting at 6:00 and just keep their tables when dinner starts. Not ideal. These are very tiny, tight rooms. Typical Europe size. They were quiet rooms. Our air conditioning didn’t work in the room. They offered a fan which helped, but as it got hotter we asked a second time to change rooms and they complied. They did reduce our room rate and comped a meal for us. The staff was very nice and apologetic for the AC issues.

PParadise34327468256Even before we arrived at the hotel the staff demonstrated a bad attitude. I emailed them for information about which bus or tram was best for getting to the hotel and what stop to get off for their hotel. I was told that there was no bus that came near the hotel. This turned out to be completely untrue as the number 12 bus stops close to the hotel as does the number 2 tram. Check in was not a friendly experience, despite my having booked three rooms. The location of the hotel is behind the old town, but this is easily accessible three or four stops on the tram. The hotel is close to the Palais de Expositions. The rooms in the hotel are a perfectly adequate size with a separate toilet from the bathroom and a door to the bedroom. The bed was comfortable. One particularly good touch is the empty water bottle that is in your room when you arrive. There is a water machine (both fizzy and still water) by the elevator, where you can fill the bottle as many times as you want. There is also an empty fridge in the room where you can put this bottle and anything else that you have that you want to keep cold. The shower had good water pressure. However bizarrely the shower gel and shampoo dispensers had been stuck rather than screwed onto the wall and after one shower they ended up in the shower tray, where they stayed for the duration of our stay. There are adequate sockets in the room for customer use, including USB chargers. The television is very French-centric with only BBC World in English. There is a small swimming pool on the roof which is not heated. It has a number of seats around. Next to the Novotel is an NH Hotel that not only has a swimming pool on the roof but also a bar. The breakfast has a good range of options. On the Saturday and Sunday mornings the fresh orange juice machine was walled off, I don't know whether this is a permanent feature at the weekends, but it certainly spoilt our breakfast on these two days. When we checked out, a different member of staff was working and much more pleasant and friendly service was provided. The Novotel is well located for a visit to Nice and is more reasonably priced than hotels in the old town.

We spent 2 nights there, the location is top, we were able to enjoy the city center and walk around (10min from the Promenade des Anglais).

GGuest UserTornerei sicuramente in questo hotel per diversi motivi. Posizione : hotel centrale. A 10 minuti a piedi dal mare, e dalla città vecchia ; altri 15 dalla stazione. In pochi minuti siete su Jean Medecin , la via dei negozi. Insomma perfetto! Se arrivate in auto non c’è parcheggio. Dovrete optare per quello su strada a pagamento , o per quelli sotterranei sempre a pagamento. Il nice etoile e’ a 5 minuti a piedi (centro commerciale con parcheggio sotteraneo a pagamento . Anche quest’anno non prendeva le carte di credito, armatevi di banconote da 20€). Camminando a piedi nella via principale jean medecin , dovete svoltare nella via laterale a cui fa angolo il negozio di Mango. Poi proseguire dritto un paio di minuti. L’hotel rimane sul lato mare (alla destra se venite da jean medecin). Camera : la nostra camera era al terzo piano. Per fortuna c’è un piccolo ascensore per portar su facilmente anche i bagagli. Spaziosa il giusto , pulita e con bagno privato. Il bagno era spazioso , con doccia wc , lavandino e phon . Un solo asciugamano a persona.Buon numero di prese nella stanza per caricare i telefoni . No frigo bar, no bollitore. Tv (no canali italiani) Armadio con cassaforte . Comodini e scrivania . Condizionatore .unica pecca era la mancanza di segnale wifii . La camera era in fondo al corridoio e la lontananza dalla parte centrale dell hotel sicuramente avrà influito. Servirebbero dei ripetitori ! Lo abbiamo fatto presente alla ragazza in reception che non reggeva /manteneva il segnale, ma il problema non si è risolto. Questo è l’unico motivo per cui non posso mettere 5 stelle. Per fortuna avevamo dei giga con la nostra compagnia telefonica . Altri piccoli dettagli migliorabili: le tende non oscurano abbastanza la stanza, anche chiudendo gli scuri purtroppo filtra la luce.se vi infastidisce portate una mascherina da notte . Dalla strada in certi momenti c’è molto rumore di giorno, per cui vanno chiuse le finestre. Di notte e più tranquillo . Materasso un po’ datato nella nostra stanza. Colazione: non ne abbiamo usufruito. Nei dintorni siete pieni di caffetterie e pasticcerie. C’è un forno proprio nella via a sinistra dell hotel ad esempio . Oppure avete Emilies and the cool kids a 5 minuti , starbucks e altre caffetterie nel nice etoile, maison karlie, le country store etc.. Per il resto staff gentile in reception e donne delle pulizie molto cortesi. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo considerando la posizione ! Da tornarci!
