We had a wonderful stay here while in Charlotte with our 3 kids. The staff was so incredibly nice and they were very accommodating. I arrived with my 3 young kids solo, as my husband was taking a later flight and ended up getting stuck in Chicago overnight. The staff was so helpful, got me into our room early and quickly provided a pack and play so my 1 year old could nap! The common areas were nice and modern, the outdoor space was beautiful and we really enjoyed the pool area. I loved that the pool had a “zero entry” end so my baby could easily splash around (this is uncommon a typical hotels and was such a nice surprise). They do offer continental breakfast and have a restaurant as well. The morning we ate there the breakfast ran out/was running behind and the manager was quick to communicate with everyone in the breakfast area, checking if they got enough and handing out vouchers for free breakfast at the restaurant. They handled it so well and went above and beyond. My drink from the bar was yummy and the bartender was super friendly! Our room was spacious and clean, plenty of room for our family (two 5 year olds and a 1 year old). The location is great and walkable to many things. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again!

We loved everything about our stay in Charlotte. We are long time lifetime titanium elite members so we’ve stay in countless hotels over the years. This hotel was one of my favorites. The beds were comfortable, rooms were quiet and the concierge lounge was well stocked with snacks/drinks all day. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Parking is 20 yuan, but it’s reduced. Nearby restaurants are more expensive. City streets can still be walked. There is car hall of fame but it is not open now. Overall it is worth looking forward to

The environment is pretty good, but the laundry is not clean, and the clothes that were handed over to the hotel for washing actually have yellow spots.

I had the pleasure of staying there for a night. It was comfy, clean and the staff was very friendly. Thank you to Sharell for help on getting a shuttle to and from the airport and to the gentleman at the front desk (Igor for his name) but I check out on 7/13 and when I called down for an iron cause the one in the room was not working he made the call and I had an iron within minutes. I will definitely stay at this property again in the future while Charlotte. Thank you for the hospitality it was excellent!!

I am literally still crying from my “special trip” that I had planned at this hotel. Flew in family (one of which is sick and dying and it maybe my last time seeing her). Rented fancy cars for everyone. Had planned a spa retreat for my daughters 18th bday and Mother’s Day for the women that have been there for us. I was a 15 year old mother, I was left homeless and hungry. I fought to be a mother, build a business, and my daughter and I had finally made it. I had remembered going to the hotel before for a dinner. I thought it would be a perfect spa day/special place. I am still crying as I type this. - I paid and booked in advance because the booking agent said they could accommodate us at the spa. I paid for the nicest room/cottage. Since we were just coming for a fun day/evening, I wanted it to be perfect. Which is why I went to a “Luxury” resort. I knew things had to be right and with a resort with this level achievements, it would absolutely be right… or so I thought. - First I had to call 3 times and several people after the spa reservation wasn’t made by the original person that booked at Marriott. - Upon trying to get the appointment at the spa, they had no availability and the woman was truly nasty. So I pay private people to come in last minute. - I arrive and the grounds are a MESS. Complete construction site, dead plants, trash, I was so confused.Nothing like what I had been promised or expected. It was a giant construction site. - The valet is the same person as the bellman. They have all these white men in suits standing around that are management while they make one little brown man do all the work. Let’s call this the “Legal Slavery” Marriott. -No one warned us or even bothered helping us to the cottage. This put us behind because we were lost for an hour in the construction. We missed out dinner reservations and had to eat my daughters bday dinner at some crappy place that could accommodate 9 people last minute. - We get to the “fancy” cottage/house. It disgusting. Red wine is all over the carpet. There are broken glasses in the bushes and on the patio (clearly had been there for a long time). There was an ant infestation and all of the food we ordered was covered in bugs. - Then I go to talk to the manager on duty on Sunday. Because I was crying in the middle of the lobby. He was dismissive and walked away and left me crying in the lobby on my daughters bday. The massages were cancelled and everything I had planned had been ruined, completely. - His boss comes in and makes excuses for him and comps the disgusting room that they shouldn’t be renting. However, makes NO attempt to take responsibility for any of the implications that their lies and laziness caused. Nothing was figured out, not only that but I had spent the entire time I was there trying to get things fixed, so I didn’t even see my family that I paid to fly in. I checked in about 11pm and I few things with there was no cart available I was told they were in use so me and my sister just started carrying our stuff up to the room get off the elevator on the 7th floor there were 2 carts sitting right there then I booked and paid extra for panoramic view but got a view of the highway and trees and my curtains wouldn’t close all the way so in the morning sun was beaming right on my face
