Prestige Inn

Got what we paid for for the night. Downside is they offered coffee in the morning but no cream or sugar.

The pictures of the property posted do not accurately reflect the condition and location of the property. Upon arrival, we were told that we couldn’t valet our bags prior to check-in so we could spend time around town prior to check-in. Then the owner told us that we could store our bags but only if we left a positive review. This was mentioned several times and I believe this is how this property has acquired misleading positive reviews. It was evident that the owner was coercing customers into positive reviews for comped services. We attempted to cancel the booking altogether upon arrival but were told we couldn’t cancel due to it being a nonrefundable booking. The location is in the middle of an unsafe neighborhood and there are no amenities whatsoever. The front desk and foyer are separated by a plexiglass to prevent robberies and break-ins so it is abundantly clear that this is not a safe neighborhood. We ended up forfeiting our money spent on the reservation and booked elsewhere for the weekend due to feeling unsafe and pressured to leave a positive review.

I enjoyed my room. It was definitely clean as the eye can see. The staff is definitely friendly. I wish they had an iron and ironing board in the room and those small amenities like soap, shampoo and conditioner. That goes a long way. In my case, it would have help. Because I just moved to Houston and I was staying at the hotel, while I wait for my apartment to be ready and I realized I forgot my body wash. But besides that, for the price per night. It was worth it and made sense

Staff and owners are very kind and helpful . Very clean rooms. Good location. Will definitely be coming back!!!!

It is a good place with parking, I liked that it had a small refrigerator and microwave oven in the room, it has parking, at night some guests made a lot of noise outside my room.

Hoover street and public roads were bad but Prestige Inn was nicely paved and clean.

Owner was friendly. Room was what expected for the price. Would stay again. Personal always use your own pillow case and wash cloth and towel. I seen one baby roach towards the end of our stay.

Amazing staff Very clean rooms Quiet -Safe Will definitely be comming back

There are couple of coffee places and restaurants around, and it is around a 20 min-drive to the downtown. The staff were friendly. However, the room was not clean enough, and there was no hair drier.
