BEWARE! They do not know how to hold a reservation. I had a reservation because I was traveling from out of state with my kids (both under 10) and arrived early in the morning. (The reservation started on the day before I arrived.) They looked for my reservation and found it. Then, they asked me for my credit card for incidentals, which I provided. Only then, they proceeded to inform me, at 2:30 in the morning, that there were no rooms available. It took me 2 hours to find alternate accommodations for me and my children at that hour. I asked what were they going to do and they said there was nothing they could do. (Apparently, being part of the Marriott line offers no benefit at all.) It seems that for this place, a reservation is kind of a waiting list. If there is a room, they will rent it, but they will not hold it for you. Reservations mean nothing else to them.

- No smoke detector in room - wires hanging out where should be - Dustballs, bits of food, strange hairs on floor and in bathroom - Toilet seat wouldn't stay up. Toilet not tightly bolted to floor so would rise and sink - Shower soap ran out, despite multiple requests at desk and maids, no replacement - Front desk staffed by foreigners, did not understand what a "washcloth" was. Would obtain one, then maids repeatedly removed it - Broken and stained furniture - Sole elevator repeatedly threatened to strand, then broke leaving everyone using stair - Advertised pool and backyard permanently closed. - Windows sealed in room and common areas, all air motionless and stale. - AC unit spewed noxious sour and mildewy air. After several days developed persistent cough and respiratory problems - Angry homeless man got buzzed in the front door, leisurely ate across buffet, loaded food into pockets, staff said and did nothing

This is my third stay at Brookhollow Spring Hill Suites in Houston. No milk for cereal at 8:30 am. Caulking around tub black. Lukewarm coffee. Molding coming off the wall. Curtains hanging poorly. Breakfast skimpy. Nice front desk workers. Couch upholstery worn out. Rust in the bathtub.

The hotel is okay if you’re staying for a night or two. However, we probably wouldn’t stay here again. Our hotel room smelled like mildew. There were stains on the sofa as well as a few on the floor near the sink. There wasn’t much offered for complimentary breakfast and very few channels available to watch on the TV. A plus is the parking, but overall, the hotel needs some upgrading.

The check in was streamlined, and Mr Ravinesh was helpful at the front desk. Offered bottled water, which is always a Plus! I had originally got lost, but he did help Navigate me to the right place. Appreciate it!

The ABSOLUTE WORST hotel EVER. When checked in there were two new young guys working who were still training. They needed help with checking inane over charged my card. They were left at the hotel with no manager while they are still " in training" I FINALLY get checked in and the room smelled horrible. I had to move rooms and the next room was just as bad. I ended up leaving the property and staying at another Marriott property. I've worked for Marriott for 8 plus years and never experienced anything like this. The manager has not helped me once and hung up on me several times. Beyond disappointed!!!!

I do not recommend staying at this Springhill suites. This is an older springhill that is poorly maintained. The carpets were dirty and there’s were stains throughout the room. The room was not cleaned well. There was a used pimple patch left on the night stand. Does not live up to the quality of Marriott and the Springhill brand.

The staff were very super friendly and helpful, the room was nice, and the wifi was fast. The room layout was also great and spacious; 2 sinks, mini-fridge, microwave, and spacious desk all made it a very pleasant room for late-night dinner. Overall, great experience. The room was clean but always had a bit of a musty smell when we entered, even when we kept the AC on while away to try to keep humidity down. The sheets also kept getting tangled; they were not as nice as I would ideally like, but they were fine. Online it said charge for parking, but they never charged me and gave me a tag to put in my windshield. Sound isolation is good - even though it's next to a loud highway (where in Houston isn't next to a massive highway?) I didn't notice any sound at all once inside the hotel. Checking-in, Quinn greeted me super friendly and was super helpful in helping me brainstorm to find something they had available that I could use to ice my foot, though I also found that all the staff were very friendly.

We stayed here for one night to visit the Houston Rodeo. The beds were very comfortable, but housekeeping missed emptying one garbage can, which made the overall cleanliness a bit dubious. Two tvs and the remotes were in plastic baggies for hygienic purposes. The breakfast was definitely not worth getting up early for, a couple of hard boiled eggs, cereals, packaged waffle and some scones. The only hot items were defrosted mini quiches and crustless larger egg souffle quiches. We would consider this place again for a short stay.
