I was at a perfect location, Staff was accommodating. However the electricity went out in our room it got hot. My key to parking wasn't working after 24 hours I paid for a 40 hour key. which I wasn't told about paying for self parking. My room was suppose to have Free breakfast it wasn't. Never staying there again.

I had a fantastic stay , I loved it. The crew was amazing Michelle, Cj and Rebecca. Taylor was my favorite they made me feel comfortable and at home . They made sure I was satisfied every step of my stay and I will for sure be back. By the and food is great and excellent excellent bar selection!

Was looking for a quiet place so that when I was in I could rest from work travel. This fits the bill and has places close by to find food when I was hungry. Staff found something I left in my room right after check out and called so I had time to return and get. Thanks so much.

On the side of the highway, the floors are only 6th floor. We are on the 5th floor. People with poor sleep quality at night are advised to stay carefully. It feels very noisy, the rooms are large and the service is good.

Was in town for a conference; room was clean, comfortable and met my needs. Rooms on lower floors can be noisy with street trolley. Convenient location; walking distance to convention center. Although I was not parking with the hotel, Drew at the Valet station was so helpful. He brought my bags in upon arrival. For some reason, every Uber I called stopped at the hotel on the opposite corner. Drew ran across to summon car to us, so my colleague and I would not have to walk over. He also was helpful with directions and recommendations for late night bites (everything seemed to shut down early downtown). The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful as well. Would stay again.

Stay was beyond excellent. The room was clean, fresh smelling and the bed super comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional. Shout out to David who gave us a warm welcome. Hotel does NOT charge for parking, which is highly unusual. The hotel offers a parking garage and surface parking behind the hotel. The location is very convenient. Without traffic it was only a 15 minute drive to downtown, 10 minutes to the Galleria and 10 minutes to Memorial Park. The challenge is navigating the frontage roads to actually get to the hotel, but Waze or Google Maps was spot on with the guidance. The hotel definitely has an older architectural style, but the rooms are super clean and well maintained. The concierge lounge is stocked with sodas, flavored water and snacks. Soundproofing was sufficient that we never were bothered by the freeway noise! We stay at dozens of hotels on an annual basis, and this hotel is simply one of the best run properties we have experienced. Definitely would recommend this property and stay here again.

We stayed at the Lancaster in September 2022. It’s a great hotel with comfy rooms and delicious breakfast. The real gem of this hotel is the staff. They are all so friendly, personable and professional. Renee was the member of staff who stood out. She went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was a comfortable and happy one, especially when we caught covid and had to quarantine. She kept checking up on us, always making sure we had all we needed. The hotel is in a central location, right in the middle of the theatre district and right by lots of offices. Would recommend for either business or leisure breaks.

Hotel location in the city center, not much to eat on weekends. And there's nothing to visit downtown Houston. There is no good green space. Fortunately, it's still close to the museum area.

New (built 2022) hotel adjacent to freeway. Clean with exceptionally comfortable beds. Front staff member went out of her way to make sure our room was feather free. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. We didn’t have any problems with noise, so non-freeway side of hotel is definitely quiet.

I have to say I had the worst experience ever. I always stay at a LaQuinta when traveling and I read reviews before booking and the reviews were satisfactory. First off the elevators were not working in which they did state on the app, but I informed them ahead of time if possible I needed a lower level room. Well when we checked in they gave a room on the 3rd floor so walking up several flights of stairs wasn’t in my plan. I asked if there was anything else available and they said no. I went ahead and kept the room thankfully my son was able to help me get up and down the stairs. The 3rd floor air in the hallway was not working so it was extremely hot so by the time I got to my room I was exhausted and saw a roach crawling over the outside door. We checked our room and didn’t see any but informed of the issue. First night was ok, the breakfast wasn’t the best. The second night the air in our room wasn’t cooling and we woke up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat so I called several times to the front desk and no answer so I had to walk downstairs and no one was at the counter at all. I attempted to write out a note to leave and eventually someone came and since they didn’t have another room like the one we booked they gave us separate rooms. One of the rooms my daughter saw 2 roaches crawling on the dresser and we had to call back down and have them find us another room. The attendant did and we were able to rest and try to enjoy the rest of our stay. The checkout was the worst I have ever experienced. The attendant was helping a young lady and I assume they didn’t have her info in the system, so about 5 people and myself were waiting in line to check out and she didn’t say not one word to any of us to even say she will be right with us. Then we were gathering all our bags from the room and was rushed out. I was so upset and really didn’t like my experience at this location at all.
