Absolutely loved this Hotel. I stayed there on May 15 for two nights. The food was amazing. The Staff is so attentive to all your needs. The rooms are perfect. After a long day, I loved sitting out on the terrace and just enjoying the view. Unfortunately I was sick when I was there and went to the reception area where they arranged for a Doctor to come to see me. I couldn’t thank them enough for all their help. I highly recommend staying here.

Gorgeous hotel, clean, Modern amenities. Beautiful alfresco dining area with yummy food. A beautiful buffet breakfast with hot breakfast options included. Close to Victoria, Falls, and all the activities that are available here or within 15 minutes of drive time. A lot to do here with families honeymooners or just friends.

This hotel gets everything right. Lovely design, fabulous food, thoughtful staff, comfortable beds with porches, intimate setting, glorious sunsets, assistance with setting up excursions, and wonderful wildlife viewing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful hotel at river's edge, less than 3 yrs old. Modern amenities (wi-fi, TV), comfortable beds. Attentive staff, regional and Western cuisine. If you're lucky, the elephants will come by for a close up. Easy access to river cruise at sunset.

We stayed at The Palm River for a few nights prior to and after our safari at The Hide, Hwange National Park. The whole experience at Palm River was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful on the banks of the river. The architecture of the buildings reminding me of the Queenslander style homes of my youth. The room was stylish, roomy and well appointed, our first few nights we had no problem with mosquitoes but upon returning from Hwange our room was full of mosquitoes, walls to ceiling. Spray was readily available to deal with them, but I suspect that the doors had been left open for quite some time prior to our arrival. Staff were friendly, and highly service oriented, nothing was too much trouble with meal requests for the toddler in our group. Thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the pool with a drink and watching the river life. We had stayed at the sister hotel in town Illala Lodge previously and while we loved our stay there, we found The Palm quieter and peaceful Hope to visit again and would highly recommend this hotel

Truly a remarkable experience at the Palm River Hotel, which is right on the Zambezi River, just minutes from Victoria Falls. The hotel itself is superior in every way. The staff, rooms, food service, and amenities were excellent in every conceivable way. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. When we were sitting resting around the pool, elephants strolled by in a peaceful manner, watched attentively by the staff. Everything at this recently opened Hotel is first class! I highly recommend this facility when traveling to see Victoria Falls and Zimbabwe. While there, one can arrange a personal interaction tour with elephants at a nearby facility, which is absolutely awesome, as well as a helicopter ride above Victoria Falls, which provides a truly magnificent perspective of one of the seven wonders of the world!

Lovely dinner at the Palm River Hotel. We were staying at their sister property, the Ilala, which offers 20% off when you dine at Palm River. Delicious food and wine but the true hit of our evening was our server, Michele. She was so funny and charming and we all wished we could have spent more time with her.

Exquisite hotel location overlooking the mighty Zambezi with surrounding natural beauty, completely untouched. Modern open design with features specific to Victoria Falls, like an archway constructed in the same design as the historic Rhodes inspired suspension bridge. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable and spacious with absolutely everything you could possibly need as well as charming river views. Management has thought of absolutely everything to fulfil a luxury experience. Breakfasts are a treat as is all food served whether next to the river in candle light suspended from the tree branches or from the elevated and open plan dining area. Great wine list too. If you are looking for understated, laid back luxury in a beautiful setting, this is the place. We will not hesitate to return. Well done!

Great hotel, with stylish decor. Nicely located with a beautiful garden and swimming pool area. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. Good restaurant. Complementary shuttle to town. Highly recommended.
