Rolled up late on a weekday evening without a reservation: the owner could not have been more welcoming and understanding. Spent a cosy night in a clean, comfortable and quiet en-suite double room in a beautifully-kept house and garden. Thank you for your hospitality, Susie; I will be back!

We had a lovely one night stay at Sunny Bank , our room was clean as was the bathroom which had a heated towel rail. Small shower gel and shampoo bottles were also provided. The beds were comfy and the room had a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. There is free on site parking and free wi-fi. For breakfast , there was a choice of 5/6 cereals , orange juice , tea , coffee and a full English breakfast which was delicious. The owner Susannah was also able to cater for gluten free options and got some gluten free bread in for us. I would definitely stay here again.

Due to a major plumbing issue my 86yr old father needed to quickly find alternative accommodation. Thank goodness for Sunnybank helping out at short notice. My father thought the room & facilities were lovely & the host extremely kind & helpful. Thank you 🙏

Five-star hospitality. In an a**osphere that was welcoming, homely and cozy. The host looked after us very well and they really went the extra mile with hospitality, especially for my 9-year-old granddaughter. Real kindness! The breakfast was freshly cooked with quality ingredients and every whim catered for. It was lovely to have the lounge to relax in and cereal, bread for toast, spreads and fresh milk provided. The location is superb, as described. Off-road parking was a real plus.

Had a very nice weekend, the room has been recently refurbished and was lovely. The best breakfast I’ve had in a long time, the owner was friendly obliging and attentive. I will be back very soon with my wife.
