Casonas de Marengo

Casonas De Morengo is an absolutely beautiful place. Tranquil and secluded. Totally away from the hoi polloi. It’s so serene and peaceful. Having usually stayed in the South of Tenerife this is totally different. The staff here (Maria Luis and Pedro) go out of their way to help. We stayed in El Teide for most of the time, the view from balcony was absolutely magnificent! Around the north there are many traditional Canarian towns, lots of secluded beaches with natural sea pools etc. They tend to be down a steep windy hill with narrow roads so I’d advise a decent car! We adopted the kitten family here for our stay, the white one with the ginger face is very friendly! We’d have had him in our suitcase if it was even slightly realistic! It would be a great place for an extended family stay as there are about 5 or 6 separate houses in the same Finca with both private and shared outside spaces. We’d definitely come back!
