Clean, quiet, comfortable, affordable. Minutes away from the harbor and restaurants. Lovely courtyard to sit and enjoy a coffee or beer.

Beautiful suit. We had to leave very early and unfortunately the power went out in the middle of the night and we had to pack and get ready by cell phone flash lights. Other than that the place was wonderful

Very impressed with service. Owner carries suitcase up stairs to room, which was an upgrade. Comfortable room.
Only negative was room is above a restaurant.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very comfortable, with good ac and WiFi. The location was close to restaurants, markets and shipping. It was only a short, and mostly level, walk to the harbor and ferry landing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace were very nice with a great view of the town. We walked to the beaches along beautiful cliffside roads with amazing views. We spend three nights and could have stayed longer! The people of the town are very friendly, and it is a beautiful and peaceful place!

I stayed at Achilleas for one night on Hydra and am so happy with my stay. A lot of things on Hydra are quite pricey (even though I came at the end of the tourist season), and I was pleasantly surprised with their rates. I arrived early in the morning and was delighted to be able to check in early. The rooms are clean and tidy and have very good air conditioning (which is so nice in the late summer!). There is a rooftop area that you can read or relax on — or hang your swimsuit to dry. If the website shows they do not have availability, try emailing them. I was able to book my accommodation via email, as the website was showing not available. Great for a budget/mid-price stay on Hydra. (I also highly recommend visiting Hydra! So unique and beautiful.)

We had an amazing time at Achilleas - so friendly, clean and fantastic service and happy couple taking good care of everything we needed. The room was nice, and the place in the middel of Hydra with a great view from the roof top was so nice. We will for sure come back.

Inside the flat zone around the harbour. Quiet, 5 mins from port and some great restaurants within 2-3 minutes.
