Virrey Finca Hotel

Zaczynając od dobrych rzeczy, przyjazny personel podczas zameldowania, bezpłatny parking, pokój był czysty i ładny (z wyjątkiem prysznica, który miał zerowe ciśnienie i pustego minibaru bez wody), a klimatyzacja działała całkiem nieźle. Łóżko było ogromne i naprawdę wygodne. Śniadanie było miłe na tarasie, przyzwoity wybór. Teraz reszta… Dopiero dzień przed naszą rezerwacją odkryliśmy, że restauracja będzie zamknięta na kolację w noc naszego pobytu, ponieważ mieli wydarzenie (i odkryliśmy to tylko dlatego, że skontaktowałem się z nimi, aby sprawdzić, czy potrzebujemy rezerwacji na kolację !). Ten hotel znajduje się w szczerym polu, a jedną z jego głównych atrakcji ma być restauracja. W każdym razie przyjechaliśmy tam i dowiedzieliśmy się, że impreza była weselem, które odbyło się między 18:00 a północą i było bardzo głośno! Mieli mikrofony, muzykę itp., a wszystko to pod naszymi oknami. Szczerze mówiąc, przenieśli się gdzieś indziej dokładnie o północy, ale jako rodzina z małymi dziećmi nie było to tym, czego chcieliśmy lub oczekiwaliśmy na podstawie strony internetowej hotelu. Następnego ranka postanowiliśmy popływać w basenie przed wymeldowaniem, ale basen miał kupę. W tym momencie nikt jeszcze nie zamknął basenu, mimo że miał być otwarty i dostępny. Wokół na trawie leżały też niedopałki papierosów, najwyraźniej z wesela, które nie zostało wyczyszczone. Spodziewałem się, że personel przy kasie zapyta, jak minął nasz pobyt, ale podejrzewam, że wiedzieli, że odpowiedź nie będzie miła, ponieważ już przepraszali osobę, która wymeldowała się przede mną. W sumie strata naszych pieniędzy i gdybym wiedziała o ślubie z wyprzedzeniem, odwołałabym rezerwację i znalazłam coś innego.

Wonderful building but our room was quite small. Breakfast food was amazing but service haphazard, items missing needed to keep asking. Took ages to get any coffee! Evening meals strange menu which was cancelled one night a replaced by barbecued meat only. I had a lovely steak but others had to head out to nearby town in search of food. Last morning water supply failed and we couldn’t wash / flush toilet etc but not a word of apology let alone any rebate. Almost seemed as though it wasn’t uncommon?

Very disappointed to wake last morning to find no water - couldn’t wash, shower or flush the toilet. Staff gave no apology whatsoever. Make sure you arrive before 10pm when reception closes; hotel in lovely quiet setting, lovely old farmhouse/mansion. Nice room but small and no tea/ coffee making facilities. Breakfast lovely quality but had to ask and wait ages for individual small cups of coffee. Self- service but often had to ask for missing items eg teaspoons, milk, butter etc. Lovely shady swimming pool. Evening meal very haphazard- we were shown a menu and booked but when we arrived they’d decided to change to just grilled meat ( which was lovely but not for four guests who wanted fish/ vegetables etc and had to go out at last minute). Next night we did eat from the menu but turned out to be strange meals when they did arrive

For our stay on Mallorca we chose the “Virrey Finca Hotel”, especially for its strategic location for us personally, as we like to do a lot of trips by car on the island. Our choice turned out very well, a very nice location, it is very calm and serene, you indeed wake up with the singing of the birds. We had opted for a room with a terrace on the first floor. The staff is super friendly, the restaurant is second to none, and the breakfast buffet is one to say "you" to, in and word fantastic! We can do nothing else than warmly recommend this location to people who like to visit and enjoy peace and quiet. The hotel is located in the town of Inca, on the Island of Majorca, it is an establishment with history, an old property with seventeen rooms, including suites and doubles, which still maintains the charm of its origins. This majestic estate allows the visitor to discover first-hand the charms of the island. It is a stately mansion from the 17th century in which you will find spectacular rooms, with the charm of noble and traditional feudalism of other times, perennial guardian of the Serra de Tramuntana with an area of 1,000,000 m².

A fantastic Hotel in the countryside. Old "manor" rebuilt as a hotel. Nice garden with a large pool in the garden. We where there in April so the water was on the chillier side but fully bathable (was not heated). A lovely restaurant with nice food. Nice to have breakfast outside with an overview of the garden. The breakfast was defiantly price wert with a large table with sweets. There was vineyards nearby and the Hotel helped us book a really interesting (and tasty) tour with wine testing and "snacks" that was an entire lunch.

Stayed one night, comfortable modern room and nice breakfast. Would stay again!

We stayed there for 4 days and totally felt at home. Every morning we were greeted with a big smile from Tania who had our table ready for a yummy breakfast prepared with enthusiasm by Maria. The room was so comfortable and even though there was a wedding on Sat. night we had no problem falling asleep. The front desk staff was also very helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay there when we go back to Mallorca soon.

The Finca hotel by itself is beautifully historical, with 2 salons and a small spa. The rooms are nice, simple and rather small. We could not open 2 suitcases at the same time and half of the closet was blocked by a chair. The bathroom on the other hand was spacious. The pool side was OK, the sunchairs are very uncomfortable and also the choice of music was horrible and not suitable to what the property has to offer. I also recommend having dinner there at least once, the food was amazing.

This finca looks very grand, and after a mid morning wine tasting at a nearby bodega we were so looking forward to an afternoon by the pool. Sadly the pool is located in a very a scruffy area in much need of daily attention. There were half finished wine glasses on every surface, and the pool itself was full of insects. We watched the father of a toddler do his best to fish out the worst of it, but surely not a job he should be doing on holiday? We arrived when the barometer was at 30. There was no water in our room, and an empty minibar. Dinner was a very lacklustre affair. The menu sound enticing but the food lacks vibrancy - my husband said his cod with mash was reminiscent of boil in the bag of childhood, and my pork with potatoes was beige, and crying out for green vegetables. By 10.30 the staff were making it very obvious we needed to vacate the outside restaurant area. Placemats were cleared as soon as the main course was done, and no offer of dessert or coffee was made. The staff were clearly exhausted and overworked. You cannot offer hospitality in that state. What a shame! This could be a great oasis, but currrently it represents very poor very value for money is a real disappointment. I would not recommend it and it is in urgent need of a shake up. Beautiful buildings and gardens but as a hotel it just isn’t working.
