White Wing Lodge

Let's start with the good. Comfortable beds and close to Silver Dollar City. Now the bad. No breakfast as advertised. No staff. 2 bags of decaf for a 4 night stay. And no refund within last week of booking. Ripped me off for $250+. And I don't feel too good about staying in a place where your check-out instructions tell you to clean the dishes! We have stayed here in the past, probably over 100 nights during the past 2-3 decades. It was run by the nicest people. Clean rooms and hot breakfast and they actually were there on site. Not with the new owners. They don't belong in the hospitality business. There was indication that they may be renting out to transients as I saw two children get off the school bus and head straight to the motel. Plus every day we were there we saw a guy out back working on his car! I have to admit it seemed relatively quiet but I'm thinking that the reason is it appeared to be 75% vacant. This was at a time when Silver Dollar City was right in the middle of their Fall Festival. Just a few years ago you would have really had a hard time getting a room there at that time of year! I pleaded my case with them to provide a refund for one of the two rooms I booked since something came up and my girlfriend couldn't make the trip. After requesting at least a refund for the $100 fee for a pet, they did offer that. If I had known that nobody, and I mean NOBODY, who worked there was even around that I saw. So if you want a cheap motel with zero service and you trust the guest who stayed in your room before you did their due diligence and cleaned the dishes but also want to get several emails and even an offer for a discount if you stay there in the future, then this is your place. As for me, I'll be taking my several nights a year in Branson elsewhere. If it was free, I wouldn't stay there now.

If you stay here ask for the top floor because if not then you will NOT sleep or have peace due to hearing every footstep above you at all hours of the night! The people above us had no respect at all and it caused sleepless nights for my 6 night stay at the lodge! Definitely not fun when you’re here to tour Branson and be out and about but can’t enjoy it due to no sleep! It’s day 4 and we haven’t been brought clean towels, washcloths or toilet paper, we went out and purchased some on our own. A sign in the room states it will be brought if you stay is longer than 3 days but we haven’t seen anyone. The hot water takes forever to reach a warm temperature. Staff was very pleasant on the phone and accommodated us needing handicap accessible room. The day before we arrived we were told the bottom floor was sold to another party and they had to change our room which was not a big deal. Lodge is nice in appearance, it’s a little dated and could use a good cleaning but in a great area. Would be nice for the money paid if only I could get some sleep!

I love staying here everytime we com e down for a vacation. It's just like a home away from home! It's close to SDC, and even close to the shopping areas too if i need to get anything I need! I know I'll be here at least 2-3 time this year. The people here are cool and very helpful.

We have stayed here for years, even when it was Deer Run and have always found it to be a clean, convenient location for access to the lake and SDC. The room is clean and has been remodeled In the last several years. Check in is easy, contactless -although some may find it a little bothersome to only have a code to open the door and no key. Also, reservations are only accepted online through a 3rd party and the hotel cost is immediately charged to your credit card. We were disappointed that they no longer provide any kind of continental breakfast when they used to have a very good one. We stayed in a kitchenette so the breakfast wouldn’t haven’t been an issue if we would have known to be prepared. We stayed here in December and they still had the continental breakfast so I guess tue change has happened since then. I would recommend staying here, as long as you are aware about the lack of breakfast available.

While the rooms are clean and the decor is nice, the pillows are thin and the linens are old and dated. We used to come all the time but the new owners that took over are very rude and even more so when they receive a bad review. They are doing renovations and begin banging at 8 in the morning. There was zero communication given to us and no one to contact when we had no hot water to shower. No amenities but a shuttle to Sliver Dollar City which we were not told about. The best thing about them is they are next to the parking lots of Sliver Dollar City but it is no longer a comfortable place I want to bring my family.

WARNING: IF YOU CANCEL YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK. CANCELED OUR STAY A MONTH IN ADVANCE. AND HAVE YET TO GET A REFUND 2 MONTHS LATER! THEY HAPPILY TOOK OUR MONEY OVER THE PHONE BUT CANNOT BE BOTHERED WITH A REDFUND. Its understandable that it may take a bit since we did not use their awful new service BUT DONT TAKE MONEY OVER THE PHONE IF YOU CANNOT REFUND IT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CANCELATION POLICY. Absolutely will not stay here again. This used to be our favorite place as a family to come to when we would go to Branson. However, the last 2 times we have come have been awful. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Called multiple times, emailed multiple times, get the person who works there and says they have notified the owners, but the most they can do is give us an email. Owners can't be bothered with an email or a call back. Severely disappointed in how things are ran now.

I have been to White Wing Lodge several times in the past. This last time, I booked 2 rooms (four nights) four months in advance and paid in full upon booking. 5 weeks before our trip...several family members contracted COVID, so we decided to cancel our trip. I called the lodge and notified them that we needed to cancel. I was told that the new owners would handle the refund. 3 months later I have not yet received a dime. I have called several times and each time I am told that the owners are aware of my situation. I sent an email a few weeks ago...still no response and no action. To say the least I will no longer stay at White Wing and I am currently looking for a new favorite getaway.

The guide book in the motel room 114, is the nastiest thing; I've ever seen. The pages are coming out & are filthy with coffee stains. this book has not been updated or cleaned & sanitized guessing for at least 20 years!! The woman manager is never in the office; you have to go looking for her if you need anything. The shuttle service schedule has not been updated ever, these are not the correct times. the A/C is set to a certain number; so if you get warm you can not turn the A/C down. I was given a very small sticky not with numbers on it & was told these #'s will get you into your room. I tried & tried & it finally worked; when I figured out you have to push the button on top before pushing numbers.

First of all the location is awesome if you are going to Silver Dollar City. Everyone heads one way and you get to go the opposite and we were .3 miles from the front door of the hotel. Positives - Bigger rooms, great bedding, ect.. Negative - how about hot water. The manager said we needed to run the water for 10 minutes to get Hot Water and honestly we never made it off of warmish. This is a big problem and seems like a common issue. - Second the A/C Heater is locked down and you can not make changes. That is a issue when we like it a little cooler Get the negatives repaired and a great location
