Stayed only for 1 night, but comparing quality vs. price we were bit disappointed. Location is beautiful and the staff is very friendly (this is a family operated guesthouse). The room we got was ok for the night (average 3* or lower in comparison), but the price you pay would indicate 4* level. The selection of breakfast is quite limited.

Sehr schöne Zimmer mit Ausblick auf die Berge. Sehr gepflegte Zimmer und sehr Gastfreundliche Angestellte. Für Familien mit Kindern sehr Empfehlenswert. Im Umkreis von ca. 50 Kilometern gibt es einige Attraktionen zum besuchen,wie zb. In Ruhpolding im Erlebnispark. Die Essensauswahl ist ebenfalls sehr ausreichlich,zum Frühstück gibt es ein sehr umfangreiches Bufffet.

Der Gasthof Schmelz liegt günstig an der B 305 (Teil der deutschen Alpenstraße) und an einem Wanderparkplatz. Hier kann man super einkehren und entweder zünftig essen, eine Jause nehmen oder es bei Kaffee und Riesenwindbeutel bewenden lassen. Es wird jeder satt. Auf meiner Wanderung habe ich eine Nacht hier verbracht und mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Service ist nett und zuvorkommend, die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt. Wer mag kann auch noch etwas planschen oder in die Sauna gehen. Günstig ist auch, dass die Bushaltestelle (Richtung Inzell) direkt am Haus liegt. Alles in allem ein schöner kurzer Aufenthalt. Ich kann den Gasthof nur empfehlen, würde jeder Zeit wieder hier einkehren. Vielen Dank ans ganz Team.
