酒店有美麗的海灘、泳池、戲水池。大海非常漂亮。我們的房間可以看到大海。酒店的自助餐品種繁多、品質好。有5個可以選擇的餐廳，提前預訂就可以了。度假村內到處是餐廳、餐車、酒吧。活動也非常豐富，晚上有幾場演出。還組織客人們活動。

The resort is ok if you want to go a couple of days to relax and not leave the resort. The transportation company, taxi, that the hotel uses is extremely expensive. You can call an Uber but you must wait outside the property gates for it. They try an intimidate you by saying be careful of using Uber. The restaurant at the resort are booked completely because the spaces are small. If it wasn’t for a mishap and the guest service manager pulling string; my family and I would not have had the chance to try any of the restaurants. The customer service was subpar especially for a resort but one server Giovanni was excellent. The cleanliness of the place was not good at all, when we pulled out the bed it was disgusting but the next day the guest service fixed it. It’s very unfortunate about this resort experience because with the right staffing it has the potential to be a really nice one.

Dining was reservations only, and hard to get into. Breakfast was cold at the buffet, and also service was slow. The night entertainment was the same thing…dancing. Pool was cold and both of the swim up bars were in the shade.
Very unsafe at the disco bar!! Caught the bartender putting something powdery in my daughter’s drink. Tried to record the next time, but they caught on to it. Sad that you’re at a resort and you have to watch if your drink gets roofied.
Rooms were fine, beach was probably the best part.

This is my 2nd time visiting Catalonia Costa Mujeres, but the first time I brought my husband. I told him how my first trip was amazing and couldn’t wait to show him this resort. There were many differences between my first time and the second where I can say this property isn’t as good as it used to be, but still nice. We checked in to a room so filthy, they just changed us to another room. When the receptionist asked us to look at the next room to see if it was clean we found the elevator was down. This wasn’t exactly the great impression I was hoping to give him. This involves a lot of walking back and forth with luggage just to get a clean room. The other thing was there wasn’t really any dinner options like last time because you had to make reservations for everything other than the buffet and all the restaurants were full. So we had only 1 night out of 5 when we had something different. On that note, the Tao Cat used to be a delicious Asian noodle place for lunch. Now, it’s a “fancy” dinner Asian bistro that had the WORST food that we made up an emergency to not make anyone feel bad for us leaving so quickly. The couple next to us hated their food too.The staff is extremely friendly,but I’m not sure I’ll be back due to the lack of dinner options, or if you go, make reservations as soon as you get there for days in advance. It was definitely not as lovely as it was a couple years ago, but still a nice choice due to the beach being super beautiful and the friendly staff.

Loved our stay here, the staff is kind and friendly. Only thing I would say is the dining options are limited without reservations. Other than that, this place is amazing!

This was our family’s 3rd time in Mexico over the past year, staying at all different resorts and this was our worst stay. checked in by Jovany who was irritable and didn’t answer any of our questions. He insisted on going thru his spiel as he rolled his eyes. He is not someone who should be working a front desk but this type of attitude permeated through our stay. the staff didn’t seem friendly or happy- a major characteristic of the service industry. buffet is pretty much the same every single day. Edith the hostess was unaccommodating and difficult to deal with insisting on seating us specifically where we told her we didn’t want to sit repeatedly and had an attitude. Giovani was great and delivered great service. Rooms are fine but note the unique layout depending on who you are traveling with- no privacy. lights on the balcony and in the main central pavilion don’t shut off until 10:30pm extremely difficult to get any sleep before that.
The dance troop is extremely talented and it’s a pleasure to watch them perform making the nightly shows the number one attraction.
Nicest and cleanest beach we’ve seen in Mexico not sure if that’s because we’ve previously stayed in Cancun but that was also a big plus.
Not everything was bad but the bad outweighed the good and we will not be coming back to Catalonia. Even for a quarter of the price.

Quiet property, not too big which is nice. Came for kitesurfing and it was an easy launch just down the beach for all directions. Will definitely be back.
