Puerto Antilla Grand Hotel

This was amazing as a first time visit at the beginning of May 2024, but we needed air con in our room. Reception promised on 2 occasions to ‘inform the company’ but it didn’t happen for us! Great attentive staff and lovely food with wide choice. Choose this time of year for overall peace, luxury and swim forever in your own company. We will come back, and soon we hope!

The hotel is generally first class - the rooms are spacious and well equipped and the pools and grounds are amazing. The food is very good. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Our only issues were the lack of air conditioning in our room - despite raising it more than one with reception - (it merely blew warm air into our already stuffy room) and the numerous mosquitoes, which feasted on us during the first night or two until we treated with insecticides. We were obliged to leave the windows open every night, which only further encouraged the mosquitoes.

Ants everywhere Asked for a invoice with a specific name/number, still waiting to this day. Truly a marvelous place, but why would you require me to email for a invoice change when I'm requesting it in front of you, and then proceed to not reply to the email for 3weeks?

Very comfy beds, lovely pool and garden areas, good breakfasts. A walk-in shower would have been nice for older people.

We loved our weekend there. The buffet was amazing! All fresh products and super tasty. The hotel is beautiful it is family friendly and the views from the rooms are amazing too. The staff that works there super friendly too. We will definitely book another stay!

Excellent breakfast,great choices for dinner,food could be served a bit hotter,had to use microwave every evening to heat dinner which was a bit disappointing unfortunately the surrounding area/village lacked character,gave off a type of ghost town feeling

My wife and I loved so much about the Puerto Antilla Grand Hotel where we stayed for a week at the beginning of October. We spent most of our time within the hotel grounds or on the adjacent extensive sandy beach since, as far as we could tell, there are few amenities or places of interest in Islantilla, itself. The hotel is truly grand with a large lobby area with an abundance of plant life. Our Junior Suite, well-equipped and spotlessly clean, had a magnificent view to the sea over the hotel's palm-clad gardens and several swimming pools. There is a well-maintained gym and indoor pool. Our B&B buffet breakfast had an impressive selection of hot and cold food. Our evening meals were generally taken at one or other of several small seafood restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. When we were there, the clientele was predominantly Spanish and some knowledge of the Spanish language or a good phrase book is useful.
