This hotel is good but not the best, Below is a honest review, First opinion… this is a hotel for people who have surgery only. I didn’t see many people who haven’t had surgery everyone we spoke to was booked in for something over wrapped in bandages. If you are looking for a break away I wouldn’t suggest this hotel as it is used for surgery patients and recovery. (Including us) On arrival the staff are friendly, you will be asked to pay a deposit on arrival with a credit card and physical card not Apple Pay. So make sure you bring a card. If you give them a via debit they will refuse it and tell you it takes 15-20 days to refund any money taken. Our room was really good very spacious, we had a studio, very modern and clean, can’t complain about the room because it had everything we needed and was very clean. Fruit provided on arrival along with water tea and coffee daily. I would recommend bringing shampoo and conditioner though as the one they provide is more like a shower gel. Breakfast… is £18 a day and I will be completely honest the breakfast is terrible. It is more like a light lunch than a breakfast. You will find things like noodles, sausage rolls cut up. No cooked breakfast stuff like you find in the UK and other places in Europe. Lots of bread fruit but in terms of an actual breakfast it is really poor. You can’t really make a breakfast meal out of what is there. No fried eggs or pouched eggs, no sausages or meats. No beans sauces ect. The first day it looked like my boyfriend had last nights Chinese is was really bizzare but maybe that’s how they eat here! Who knows. Personally I wouldn’t rate it or pay for it again, some of the stuff are great and friendly, you will notice there are a couple of really miserable people one in particular is a lady who always wears her hair tied back with glasses. She’s very moody never smiles and everything is far too much effort for her. The pool looks really nice and there are maybe 12 sun loungers which they provide blue padding for comfort which is nice, especially when you are recovering after surgery, Lunch and dinner is ok nothing spectacular but it’s ok, the spa is nice and the massage is great. Massage is €55. The pool is not worth using you also have to wear swimming caps which is annoying especially when you don’t bring one. Location is terrible it’s right next to a motorway and there is nothing within the area hence again. Why we think it’s more of a surgery hotel because everyone I walking around in pain and bandages so they are not going anywhere far. Reception staff and always lovely and friendly and there is security day and evening.

Very beautiful hotel and the staff is very kind and good 😊 good food nice rooms and the service is very good i recomend this hotel! Mr. Deniz was so helpful! Great staff!

I would like to also thank the hotel staff at Arjaan by Rotana in the restaurant, at reception and especially the housekeeping staff. Upon arrival they are taking care of you, taking your luggage to your room and accommodating your needs. House keeping is always checking in everyday whether you need room service or water or just toilet roll !! The restaurant and room service staff are so sweet and kind and are always so helpful to help with whatever needs you have such as ice to your room 5 times if needed. I would like to shoutout Kürsat, Onurhan, Jeku and Silanur :), such lovely and happy people.

Ibrahim and eren the waiters are super friendly and attentive to the tables, my needs were definitely satisfied as they made sure everything was in check and even offered us free Turkish tea as a nice gesture, the reception is also super nice and upgraded me to a suite which I was happy about.

The hotel is very clean you feel you are at home containing all your needs inside the room from stove top, kitchennete , washing and drying machine room service was really professional and come quickly with your order or anything you need, amazing sea view and clean and beutiful swimming pool its 10 steps from the metro ❤️❤️, and the main reason im writing this review that i wanna thanks Mr. Ensar from the reception team he was very professional and welcoming helped me and my family with anything we ask for and advise us to amazing places to go and how to go really this guy is a gold for this hotel he is a good man inside and felt his loyalty to the hotel, and this is my 3rd time in istanbul within a year and second time for me in tanjo and of co**** i will visit again and reserve at tanjo Rotana ❤️❤️

Very distrubing experiance since at the check in Lady called Seyma asked me to pay depost of TL 3000 by credit card and she said it will be on hold until check out, but immediately i received message from my back for the deduction. and she promised me that she will cancel this transcation next morning but she never shows up !

Not a 5* hotel at all. Barely anyone speaks English, was made to pay for my breakfast smoothie when breakfast was included. The selection for breakfast was nothing short of horrifying I have had better in 3* hotels in Africa. They initially put me and my 2 friends in a room with 1 double bed, then moved us to a room with 2 singles and put a camp bed up for me which I wouldn’t even let my dog sleep on. They told us that the hotel did not offer any rooms with 2 double beds (or even a room with a double and a singl)and if we wanted a room with 2 double beds we would have to pay £200 extra for a family suit. Eventually had to to threaten them with lawyers as I did not pay to stay in a “5*” hotel and be put on a camp bed. They then changed us to a room 3 doors up with 2 double beds!!! Funny that. The food for dinner in the hotel was okay mostly but on my last night I ordered the peppered beef and onion stir fry and not one piece of beef was edible. They gave me a free dessert as a result (I wish they didn’t) as it was also humming. Also advertised as self catering studios, there wasn’t one single utensil or an oven. The cups were also chipped. Don’t me started on the lifts………… all in all will definitely not be back and this is no 5* hotel!!!
