Buyukada Anastasia Meziki History Mansion

A very charming and cozy spot for lunch in Büyükada! My wife, son, and I sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and the patio view as we had a very nice lunch at the Anastasia Garden Restaurant. The husband and wife owners were excellent hosts and their food and hospitality were excellent! We ate lunch there which included cold appetizers, calamari, their signature cheeseburger, lamb chops, fruit , Turkish coffee, and a couple Efes beers. The food and service was excellent - and the beers nice and cold! The hostess was friendly and engaging and even gave us a nice souvenir magnet for our refrigerator. This is a very nice family owned and operated business that I recommend you check out. We would definitely go back to the Anastasia Garden Restaurant!

Great hotel with a great location. The owners were very welcoming and the service was exceptional. The rooms were tidy, spacious and quiet. The breakfast was made specifically for us and included home made cake and bread. Definitely recommend and will stay again.

Very delicious food in the restaurant!!! Fresh, quality, interesting. Calamari and cheese rolls, salad and meat superb. Attentive service , charming atmosphere, good quiet location . Totally recommend.

Staying at the Anastasia Meziki Hotel was one of the most enjoyable experiences we had during our travel to Turkey. We arrived to the hotel very tired after a long day and even before we checked in, we were offered good Turkish coffee in a lovely little garden. Already at that moment we started feeling Meziki Hotel was an unusual place. What followed after was a beautiful adventure. Staying in a 200-years-old historical mansion with its unique spirit and fabulous atmosphere. With its every corner and every room furnished with authentic items and furniture. And at the same time offering all the comfort and conveniences today’s traveler might need. There was a very good shower in my room I really enjoyed. I was amazed in what a smart way it was constructed in that centuries old building. During all our time we spent at the Anastasia Meziki Hotel we were enveloped with such love and care! It was a feeling we were not staying at a hotel, but with a visit to a house of our friends, Ozlem and Ismail. That amazing couple and their family are running the hotel with such inspiration and devotion that it becomes obvious very soon how much they love what they do. Ozlem and Ismail, we are very grateful to you! You made our time on the Byuykada island very special! It's worth saying some worlds about the food at the Meziki Hotel. In my past I stayed at a few old and unusual hotels, and I knew they were often a remarkable place to stay, but not to eat. This has nothing in common with my Meziki Hotel experience. There you will be served fantastic, fresh, home-made and very well-cooked food during the whole day staring from delicious breakfasts in the garden and finishing with dinners we had on a little balcony with the sea view watching Istanbul switching on its lights on the horizon as the darkness falls down. And finally. We booked two rooms at the Meziki Hotel. They were both beautiful, convenient and furnished in a unique style. But besides, one of the rooms had an old fireplace we were allowed to make fire at in the evenings. How can I describe what a fantastic experience it was to sit in the darkness near the live fire, breathing in the Bosphorus breeze and staring into the eternal dance of the flame. It was the time so good beyond words! Thank you!!!

I really enjoyed my stay. The hosts make you feel so welcomed as if you're an old friend. The room was clean and beautiful with such high ceilings! The furnishings in the home are authentic and old. The paintings on the walls throughout the home are all done by hand. I felt safe staying there as a single female traveler. I recommend staying at this wonderful home !!

Quite and beautiful place with kind owners. In restaurant very delicious food. Cozy atmosphere. Works till night and there make good cocktails and snacks. Hotel has beautiful architecture and garden with seats where you can enjoy drinks and diner. Staff speaks in English good.

Ağustos ayında kısa süreli bir tatil lcln Büyükada yi düşünmüştük ada rujunu yansıtan bir yerde kalmak istedik,yorumlara bakınca tamam aradığım yer tam da burası dedirtmisti Anastasia Meziki İyi ki tercih etmişim,İsmail bey ve Özlem hanım bizi çok çok iyi ağırlaşıyor sanki eski bir dostlarımızı ziyarete gitmişiz hissi hep uzemizdeydi. Otelde konakladigimiz sürece yemeklerinizi de bahçede bulunan şirin restoranda güzel müzikler eşliğinde yedik. Burgerler,salatalar,mezeler nefisti. Bundan sonra başka bir adres aramqmiA gerek kalmadı. Siddetle tavsiye edilir.

We ate at the restaurant. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us! Absolutely caring people, so we went back a second night. They service vegetarian plates, were attentive, kind, and provided useful advice for activities. Definitely a great place!

We had the most enchanting stay at Anastasia Meziki Hotel. The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere made us feel at home right away. The Hotel is absolutely beautiful and perfectly located. The decor is stunning. Very quiet at night but only a short 10min walk from the ferry terminal. The breakfast is super tasty and so was dinner. We will definitely visit again.
