It was so nice hotel, especially kind staffs and awesome location, you can walk around the Istanbul old parts like Ayasofya or Grand Bazaar

Ares Hotel is located in old town just across the street from Haiga Sophia. Many many restaurants and shopping available. The rooms aren’t fancy but has everything you would need and the AC works great! The hotel employees are some of the kindest humans! Adorable, very friendly, and very helpful. They will meet you to show you the hotel, they will arrange any rides you may need, and they help you find things in Istanbul. The restaurant is great. The best lentil soup I’ve ever had! Seriously, the best lentil soup I’ve ever had. The Terrance has a great view :) I would 100% stay here again if visiting Istanbul.

The room is nice and simple. Important for us all was clean. New towels every day. All we ask was immediately done. Thank you so much. If come late home at 3am in the morning no problem. The service stuff opens the door friendly. A Turkish simple breakfast plus a extremely motivated man on the reception who did all to feel comfortable. It is located at the centre of the heart of Istanbul. You can do all by walk here. Thank you so much for a great time

Its stated free parking it isn't. We have to park 2km away from the hotel.
I booked for double bed which can fit 3pax and from the picture theres sofa bed .. but got twin bed instead with no sofa paid extra for nothing. Stated blacon with city view. But we get no balcon with full of wall blocking our window. And sound proofed stated?? But i can hear next door taking shower with their tv on!
No water were given in the room.. must ask and they only give us a bottle of 500ml. That's it! The drinking glass is dirty never washed! The toilet smell of sewage. And when ask for things.. the grumpy old women will give you the looked. They said wifi password in the room.. which we can't find any. Checked in at 9pm.. and ask for late check out, not available..(disapointed) Breakfast was so simple.. nothing extra.. not even extra drinks. Not even juice or fresh milk for my 3years old son. Very sleazy hotel.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage. Das Zimmer war sauber, ordentlich jedoch klein. Jedoch soll dies der Bewertung keinen Abstrich macehn. Das Frühstück war einfach jedoch ordentlich. Es wurde auch gefragt ob man noch Kaffee oder Tee haben wolle. das Pesronal war sehr freundlich. Wir haben im Hotel einen Hoteltransfer gebucht, die Preise waren ortsüblich. Der Fahrer kam pünktlich. Alles in allem eine empfehlenswertes nettes, familiäres Hotel.

Отдыхали в этом отеле в ноябре 2023 года. Началось с того, что фото не соответствуют реальности. Номер выбирали по фото, а оказалось что они в пандемию все стены покрасили в белый цвет а фото поменять забыли. Но это ладно... когда бронировали, был указан шведский стол на завтрак, а когда приехали, нам на завтрак выдали нарезку из 3 сыров, двух колбасой и корзину булки... о чём так же не сообщили заранее. При заселении выяснилось что сломана кнопка слива унитаза, вместо того чтобы починить её, нам предложили вариант её использования без починки... уверен, она так и лежит там сломанная. Душевой поддон тёк со всех сторон, так что после каждого приёма душа, в ванной была лужа. Что как я понимаю, так же останется без ремонта. Мы заплатили 8000 рублей за ночь, итого 32000 за всё время проживания. Решайте сами, насколько это достойная цена за указанные мной удобства.

Самый центр Стамбула - средневековая улочка между площадью Султанахмет и Цистерной Базиликой. Вокруг много отелей и уличных ресторанов, поэтому поздним вечером (часов до 11) может быть немного шумно. Отель, конечно ж, немного "усталый", но великолепное расположение, наличие лифта, чудесный вид с террасы на четвертом этаже и, самое главное, замечательный персонал нивелируют все мелкие погрешности. Отличное место для знакомства со Стамбулом.
