It’s a 5 star Hotel with everything perfect except few and that’s why rated with 3 star 1. Welcome at the hotel (3 star): Considering Marriotts brand value and standards, there was no welcome, no welcome drinks. It is merely a gesture and when a person goes to a luxury 5 star these things can be worked on. 2. Valet and Parking (5 Star): Parking staff is friendly and smiling 3. Checkin (5 star) Checkin was smooth, Deepanshu at reception if I remember his name correctly was an extremely helpful and had an infectious smile. Courteous staff at the reception. 4. Rooms (5 star): no complaints, big clean room, had requested a cake for my wife, it was a slice which was extremely delicious and room decor was great considering the request was placed on short notice 5. Buffet : we had breakfast and dinner buffet Spread was sufficient and tasted great. Though starters were cold but when we requested they served us hot starters. Hotel was jam packed so I do understand the crunch situation for the hotel staff as well and the fight to please the guests. But here’s the catch. Staff was sufficient, but only few were kind and zealous enough to run through pleasing the guests. Majority were not taking any pains, forgetting the orders, table numbers, someone else orders at other tables utter chaos I would still give a benefit of doubt here considering guests were too many but hot mild without sugar and after multiple reminders it comes after 45 minutes is not acceptable. Badly need to work on staff training. Unfortunately the two three boys who were painstakingly doing best of their work had no name plates and I couldn’t see their names. They were doing best they could and I could see just 2-3 of them running here and there obliging people rest were I think just there for the sake of it. Importantly none of the female staff was interested in helping any of the guests except saying hi hello to kids. Considering the head count at the buffet area they should have been helping out their fellows in taking orders and preventing the chaos. 6. Checkout was perfect and smooth 7. Swimming pool was clean though there was no attendant for towels. Had to wait 20 minutes to find someone who got towels for us from the spa room. 6. Overall property was extremely clean and well maintained. If you can help yourself and manage food on your own at buffet, it’s a perfect place to stay. 8. Location is great Conclusion: I do recommend this property but my humble request to the management to pull up the staff at the buffet area except those 2-3 boys who are actually doing a lot that too with smile and patience.
