Jambiani Villas

This hotel was in a village and not too many tourists. The hotel was on the beach and had 2 swimming pools. The food at the restaurant was superb. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing seemed to much trouble for them. The rooms were very clean as was the rest of the hotel. I would like to especially mention Aziz who went out of his way to help us with anything that we needed and ensure that we were enjoying our stay at Jambiani Villas

Such a lovely place to stay! The villas were beautiful and comfortable, the pool lovely! Staff in all three locations super helpful and friendly, smiling always! Food and breakfast great, loved the swahili dinner night! Much appreciated the mangoes and pawpaw we got upon request! Especcially enjoyed the Jambiani beach life which you get to share with the local community. ❤️ Hope that wont change...

Jambiani Villas was fantastic. Exactly what they promised. And more. We stayed a week at the 2-bedroom villas on their Kaskazini plot with a group of 9 persons. And we loved it. It is a small and peaceful, high quality hotel with very friendly staff. The walk to the La Shira restaurant via the beach for breakfast and dinner was actually a good little stroll, and when we felt lazy we utilized the free of charge room service. The foods were excellent, the beach was quiet and the villas were luxurious, Asante sana!

We've just returned from a week holiday in the beautiful Jambiani village. We stayed in the apartment above the reception and it has exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated with an eye for detail, very usefully equipped kitchen (we made use of the fridge when buying lots of amazing local fruit). There have been few short issues with the elctricity, but the room was well insulated and the aircon working very well so we didn't have any issues, very happy with this as temperature was constantly 30-31-33 C and humidity very high. Room was cleaned daily and towels changed daily too. The only thing we would suggest is to look into replacing the towels with new fluffier ones. We also enjoyed the walk to the restaurant and back, either on the beach or through the village. All the local residents are very friendly and helpful and when we had to come back to our room in the dark, security staff was provided so we didn't get lost. You only need to ask. We did enjoyed every single meal we had at La Shira, breakfast had good choice, Swahilli buffet BBQ night was amazing, completed with the Live Fire show. I also must mention the seafood platter for 2 which we had twice, that good it was! I have to mention what really made this holiday amazing, as what I said so far it only ticks a 4 star holiday boxes. Amazing is all the team, every single member of the team going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and wanted. I wish all of them were wearing a name badge, special thanks for David who arranged our Spice farm & Stone tour and our Snorkelling & Star fish trip. Also special thanks to Azzizi who taught us swahilli, Asante sana and hope to see you all soon!

We stayed at the Jambiani Villas for 2 nights in early July. The hotel is beautiful and has very attentive staff. That being said, we weren’t aware that the hotel is divided in properties, which meant we had to walk every time we wanted to go to the restaurant. However, we walked in the beach which was lovely. They do offer free room service which we took advantage off several times, although it can be slower than just walking to the restaurant.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with my father-in-law, sister-in-law, and my wife and I in late June, prior to beginning our safari in Arusha area. After a long flight from Canada we wanted to relax and adjust to local time before starting the safari. Many people do Zanzibar after the safari but for us starting here first worked great and allowed us to have a few days relaxing and adjusting to the time change. Plus we got to see the great things in Zanzibar. My First interactions with the Jambiani Villas team was well prior to our arrival to arrange for airport pickup and to ask a few questions. The team is fantastic! They are always prompt in responding to communications and offer great advice. Our first morning at breakfast I sent them a message on WhatsApp and a few seconds later they were at my table introducing themselves and answering our questions. It was a wow moment and proved they are delivering high end service. Having stayed at Ritz Carletons and Four Seasons in the past I would say their service exceeds these high end hotels. They provide that personal touch and because of the small nature of the villas they can connect at a much better level with their guests. We took advantage of some their extra services like massages and private bbq and they were exceptional. You can arrange for the massage at your own villa which makes it extra relaxing. For the private bbq, also at your own villa, the team goes out of their way to decorate with patio lanterns and flowers, which is a really nice touch. Food was fabulous! The villas themselves are great. Each bedroom has their own bathroom, offering ample privacy for each guest in the villa. With a/c, a kitchenette, pool and ocean steps away all make for a great vacation. The villas are setup in 3 clusters along the beach, each having their own lounge area and bar. In staying at the 3 bedroom villa it made for a short relaxing walk along the beach whenever visiting the restaurant. Really walk is equivalent to staying a large resort and having to walk from room to restaurant or bar. Advantage here is that you are walking in beautiful sand, with clear beautiful water. So a chance to enjoy paradise! Overall a great place to stay! With the service being among the best I have ever seen, I highly recommend them.

An unforgettable stay at Kole Villa! My family and I had an exceptional time in this quaint village. The location is ideal, surrounded by fantastic restaurants serving delicious cuisine. The service was simply excellent, and the manager was incredibly warm and attentive. We immediately felt at home, regretting having to leave so soon. It's a place where you'd want to extend your stay endlessly. I highly recommend Kole Villa for an authentic and memorable experience in Zanzibar! Thank you Camille and your team!

I could not have dreamt up a better stay then we had a Jambiani Villas. The staff was extremely attentive. We were able to book all of our excursions through them. The place was beautiful with the villa being even nicer than the photos. My girls were treated so well be everyone. I highly recommend taking the time to have the village tour while you are there to be sure to absorb some of the local culture. A stop at the local acrobatic school is also something you should ask the staff about. This whole trip is something we won’t soon forget.
