Econo Lodge Jefferson Hills Hwy 51

It was clean. I'll give it that. We stayed in a 1st floor room. The people above us can only be described as elephants wearing tap shoes, performing nightly. And not very good ones at that. There was no carpeting on the floor of the room above us, so every time they walked, anywhere, you could hear, and they walked, A LOT! Loudly! And they had small children that ran constantly back and forth, at all hours. It was terrible. In addition, the door to the bathroom was at an odd angle, so you really had to give it a shove to open it. I just would not stay here again.

At least the water was hot, is probably the nicest thing I could say. Well, that and the rooms were clean. When we checked in, the clerk just charged the card that was used to reserve the room, without asking if that was the one we wanted to use, which it wasn’t. It caused great issues with our finances for the rest of our trip. I don’t think I’ve ever checked in where they didn’t check to be sure which card you wanted to charge. There was a downhill grade from the room into the bathroom. I almost fell as I went into the bathroom. The bathroom door stuck shut that you couldn’t open it if you closed it all the way. We were on the first floor. There was a family that stay above us that I can only describe as elephants wearing tap shoes and clogs who bowled. Dear God! Both nights we were there until 11:30 PM and starting at 6 AM all you could hear was the tromping back and forth on the floor above! I will not stay here again.

The front manager was very nice and accommodating and gave us two rooms next to each other on the first floor. The rooms are big and so was the bathroom. Everything looked very nice but both rooms had a horrid odor. Good thing we brought room spray, after spraying the rooms they were perfect for the night. We felt safe and were comfortable!

The front desk attendant and services during our stay were excellent. Fast, hassle-free attention to all of our requests were expedient and very much appreciated. Our room and all amenities were clean and comfortable!

They rooms are newly renovated. Staff is very friendly and willing to accommodate. Very clean and quiet. Not you average econolodge. Was in town visiting friends and a concert. Very reasonable rates for a weekend long stay. Will visit again

Loved the room. Clean and comfy beds. Fast checkin. Staff are very accommodating and helpful.surprisingly they have free breakfast. Definitely will revisit. They have some renovations going on which caused some inconvenience but understandable.

Our visit was excellent! The staff was very friendly and the room was immaculate. We accidentally took one of their towels with us when we left. I called them as soon as we noticed this, and they were very understanding. Highly recommended!
