We are Joyce & Eric, an retired couple moved from Hong Kong to Shaxi historical village. Shaxi has conserved its unique cultural heritage from ancient china. It is well known for it’s beautiful landscape, the ethnic diversity and it’s peacefulness. Many visitors are attracted to this beautiful village and would stay for months to paint, take photos and hike. We used to travel around the world and we understand how important it is to stay in a warm, clean, convenience and welcoming place to make your journey more comfortable and memorable. Miss May Hotel was transformed from a traditional house built by the Bai family. We preserved the unique style of this historic house with a touch of modern amenities. Highly reconmmend Miss May Hostel in Shaxi. So well managed and maintained in all aspects and details that leaves no spot for improvements. The hostel deserves particularly mentioning of its cleanness here, there and everywhere, and Dove brand shampoo and shower gels in bathroom that I have used to at home all these years ... definately I will come here soon with my family and friends. Perfect!

Excellent stay. The hostel is sooo beautiful and equipped with everything you need. The location is convenient to visit every checkin points in Shaxi. The hostel owner is really nice and support us a lot during our stay. She could speak English so it's much more easier to communicate if you're a foreigner.

The hotel is located in the old town, fully equipped, the hotel grounds are filled with flowers, especially the rose arrangement in front of the door that makes you just want to take pictures all day with it. The hotel owner was very nice, she helped me book a taxi to Lijiang, and changed money for me when I was short on cash. What I really like about this hotel is that there is a heated bed, my night sleep is good because it is very warm. Cute little Shaxi, cute hotel, cute landlady, that's all I felt when I came to this place.

As soon as I arrived, I felt I was a family member of the friendly and joyful owner couple. They went beyond almost any other hotel I have traveled to, to make my trip to Shaxi the best possible, arranging trips, walking me to destinations, cooking free meals for me, and explaining the local culture so I had more awareness of the beauty that is Shaxi and the Bai people. They did all of this as if it was the most joyful thing they could possibly did with their time, not out of obligation or responsibility. The room was so tastefully decorated, and the garden of abundant flowers and plants and lounge area, all made for a heavenly experience

如果你对清潔要求較高，这家絕对是正確選擇，住在这里期间我们可以像在家一样完全放心使用任何房內設備，老板無論毛巾、廁所、床具都进行消毒的，衞生標準極高，我甚至檢視了最易忽略藏污的花洒头和浴簾（还用白色的呢），都清潔得沒話說😂（見附图）
廁所是暖坐板，有暖光灯，床有暖毡，浴室用品也用挺好的產品
老闆夫妻是香港人，老闆娘超能幹，老闆是旅遊達人，有什麼值得參观的可問問他
位置理想，小花园滿滿的小花。窗下多肉植物，墻上月季都給人温婉清新的感觉，从此这里是我沙溪的家了

Homestay ở Sa Khê cổ trấn, ông bà chủ nói được tiếng Anh ạ, ông chủ nhiệt tình lắm luôn, chỉ cho chúng mình đường đi, hỗ trợ mang vali giúp chúng mình nữa. Home rất đẹp, có giàn hoa hồng đẹp nhất Sa Khê, sân vườn ngập tràn hoa, mê xỉu. Home gần cổng phía Bắc của cổ trấn, đi lại rất thuận tiện, phòng sạch sẽ và rộng rãi. Chỉ cần ở home thôi là bạn đã có rất nhiều bức ảnh đẹp rồi ấy.
Recommend khi mọi người đến Sa Khê cổ trấn ạ, giá rẻ mà home đẹp lắm ấy.
Cảm ơn ông bà chủ đã hỗ trợ chúng mình 💚
