Jindy Inn

Booked a standard room with a booking site. It was a non refundable rate of $135 including breakfast. On site parking & access to reception is at the rear off Clyde St. Check in was easy, professional & good info given. Thoughtful recommendations were given for dinner options. The recommendation we chose was an Italian restaurant we could walk to & it was excellent. We were allocated Room 7 along the corridor on the same level as reception & breakfast room. It was a hot day & the air con was thoughtfully turned on for us. Our room was a good size with a king bed & a single. Both were very comfortable. The air con is relatively quiet & wifi is free & fast. There's a fridge ( no freezer section) & a courtesy tray. We had a balcony with views of the lake with outdoor furniture. This faces the Koscuisko Way. You can hear the traffic thro the day, but it eases through the night, & starts up again early in the morning. It is not noticeable if the window is closed, so the air con needs to be on The ensuite is small but works well. The toilettries provided are very good, provided in plunger bottles & the shower was excellent. There is a step over a hob. Breakfast, which is incl in the room rate, is held in the dining room just off reception & available from 7-9am. What a generous spread- Juices, yogurt, cereals, various breads, just baked goodies, tea & coffees. The staff we encountered were very friendly & helpful. Our stay at Jindy Inn was enjoyable with the highlights being the staff & the generous breakfast. We would recommend staying here.

Visited for a week with a bushwalking group and it exceeded all expectations . From check in to departure it was such a wonderful week. The staff obviously love their work and looked after us so well. Glorious room, had top floor with balcony and lake views! What’s not to love! The quality of everything is so much better than accommodation of a similar price. Everything from the Tea bags/ hot chocolate sachets/coffee bags to the non disposable bathroom products was of the best brands. Love their Jindy $ system, this place has really worked at keeping it an environmentally friendly stay. If you don’t have your room made up daily you earn 5 Jindy $ a day which you can exchange for say, a wine at happy hour or save them up and purchase some products/ art work/ cards etc on departure. The included breakfast always had some fresh baked goodies every day. Delicious. Thank you Jindy Inn for looking after us so well, you surpassed our expectations.

I booked the Jindy Inn directly, Luci was especially helpful via email with all my queries as I was not there for the nearby snow fields but meeting friends. After a harrowing 9hr drive to Jindabyne from Melbourne (courtesy of Google maps) I received a very friendly welcome from Lisa and looked forward to my wonderfully comfortable bed! My room was lovely and clean, with great size bathroom and all locally, hand made toiletries (available to buy). In the morning, I was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful view from my balcony looking out at Lake Jindabyne and the mountains. Continental Breakfast is included in the rate and set up in their dining area between 7-9am. As well as toast, tea/coffee, fresh fruit and cereals, they had a variety of lovely little home made pastries and muffins. Hotel is well located with a short walk to shops, cafes and eateries. A little added bonus, if you don't need to have your room made up, they give you a $5 voucher redeemable against anything from their gift range, toiletries, wine or simply use to buy an in-house barister made coffee. Highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed overnight at Jindy inn. The staff members, in particular Lucy? were really welcoming, their customer service was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a bit cool to be sitting on the front deck, but would be good if it was a bit warmer. We booked a room without stairs. I maybe would suggest a hand rail on the small ramp

Very friendly staff, lovely clean fresh and delightfully scented reception. Rooms were lovely clean and fresh, good size, seating on verandah was nice. There are steps to the rooms. The rooms have the most lovely soaps, shampoo’s, conditioner, body lotions etc made in Jindy. The only downside there was also a communal kitchen down the hall, which someone had cooked some kind of meat fat that was very heavy in the air. The small car park can get full, but you can park roadside. It’s about 30-40 mins plus traffic to closest ski areas. The complimentary breakfast was simple, but ample. Good location, would stay again, love the scented room spray I purchased, thank you for the voucher too.

Clean and comfortable with friendly helpful staff. Continental breakfast included in price. We stayed in a ground floor room with garden view. Short walk to local brewery and shops. Would happily stay again.

This was our 3rd visit to the jindy inn it’s a great place to stay very good value the included breakfast was great. Room good size very clean with a comfy bed our only problem with hotel was you are allowed to smoke on balconies and as non smokers this puts us off from sitting outside

Where to start? Stunning views. High quality linen. Homely artwork and touches. Beautiful, home-made bathroom products. A full kitchen available for self-catering. Yummy, filling breakfast. Friendly staff. Extremely clean. Local info available. Complimentary tea/coffee/bikkies. Claire was a delight to chat to. Seriously can’t believe we only paid $130 for all this. If ever back in the area I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else.

Where should I start? Amazing service in rescheduling our booking. A great, friendly welcome and great service in recommending places to see and eat. Fantastic continental breakfast. This place is hospitality personified. Thankyou Renee so much.
