What a gem! Really lovely little spot in a perfect location near the lake. Charming family-run business, with great food, great service, great bed, great shower, great everything! 10/10!

The free parking offer is a bit exaggerated because the owners had occupied about 6 bays for their own caravan and SUV, forcing me to park off-street. The inside parking should really be reserved for guests b/c it's part of the package that we paid for.

Very Basic and Overpriced:
Room was very small. Ceiling was relevantly low from one side. The outer door with mesh didn't close properly.
Bedding was also not clean, and there was a strange smell in the room.

Such a beautiful Hotel great work has been done in the renovations the staff here are absolutely exceptional would highly recommend the kookaburra to anyone

Good basic accommodation but sound insulation was poor. Breakfast was good and they had a great lounge area.

Great and affordable place to stay. This property is situated in a convenient location, close to all local amenities. Well equipped Kitchen and lounge area to make/share your own meals. Tasty breakfast served daily included in the room rate was a great bonus. Nice outdoor BBQ area.

Awesome place to stay. Loved the communal lounge area. The owners and nice amd friendly and the rooms were clean and warm. The included breakfast is also a bonus. If you are looking for a fancy hotel, this isn't it but we loved it and will be back again.

The fireplace was very warm and nice and the cooked breakfast was delicious 😋.Also the bedroom was comfy and my daughter liked the Kookaburra painting. We will come back again.😀

Comfy stay, convenient walk to shops. Though Breakfast was disappointing. Hot breakfast though potato gems not properly cooked and sausages did not taste nice. None of mine kids ate it. We didn't eat there for rest of stay.
