Apollo Beach

Booked this hotel for 4 nights as my daughter was getting married nearby and this was a good location and within our modest budget. We went half board and this was perfect for us. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly but communication could be better mainly because English was not predominately spoken. Unfortunately in April even though the temperature when we were there was 26degrees the hotel does not have air con on. Also local restaurants and attractions do not really open until May. However the outdoor and indoor pool was lovely with fresh towels available every morning from the indoor pool area and the entertainment was excellent and very enjoyable. If you are half board you only get tap water free with your meals at dinner. On the whole we had a pleasant stay and I would say this was more of a 3 star hotel it was tired in its decor but if you are out and about there is a bus stop outside the hotel and you get what you paid for and this was a cheap deal for us Some tips ask for extra milk/ teabags from the cleaners the milk pots are tiny in the room you need at least 2 for one cup Hairdryer is attached to the wall in the bathroom Don't forget your plug adapter for a 2 pin socket Also take ear plugs the hotel bedroom doors are loud when shut you hear everything not quiet at night

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est parfait: les transats face à la mer, l'accès direct à la plage et la mer... Le personnel est très sympathique, la réception, les cuisiniers, les femmes/hommes de ménage, les serveuses/serveurs... Les animations proposées sont très cool, comme les tournois de pétanque, de football, le yoga, + les animations le soir (chanteurs, dj...). L'hôtel est complet, il propose une salle de sport, un terrain de football, une piscine intérieur et extérieur inclus dans le prix (il y a aussi un terrain de tennis en supplément). Avec la formule all inclusive, on peut aussi profiter des nombreux bars, ou du restaurant extérieur (qui est ouvert de 11h30à à 17h30), qui est très cool, sans payer de suppléments. Le buffet est très complet et varié.

Un hôtel très agréable et très propre, le personnel sympa à l'écoute et souriant. Les plats sont bien préparés et franchement bon. L hôtel est bien situé.

This Hotel lives up to all expectations. Spotless, super friendly staff, decent food and overall excellent. Really impressed so going back in October..only a stones throw from Faliraki with plenty of bars and shops. Loved this place....

Wir waren kurz nach Saison-Eröffnung für eine Woche Im Hotel und ja, die meisten Mitarbeiter superfreundlich, alle motiviert und vor allem, alles sauber. Wenn ich jetzt die hinterletzte Treppe benutze, ja, dann sehe ich da Abnutzungserscheinungen, was solls. Insgesamt war die Anlage sehr gepflegt. Klar, das ist ein regionales 4 Sterne Hotel und da gibt es natürlich Kleinigkeiten, die einem vielleicht nicht so gefallen. Wir hatten glücklicherweise all inklusiv gebucht und haben das auch gut genutzt, denn, fußläufig war noch kein Restaurant geöffnet. Das Essen war durchaus ansprechend, ich habe ja auch keine Hummer etc. erwartet (wie vielleicht so manch anderer), aber jede Menge frisches Obst und abends immer pfundweise leckere Erdbeeren. Täglich Fisch und Fleisch vom Grill sowie regionale Gerichte, das hat schon gepasst. Mittags gab es im kleinen Restaurant ein kleines Buffet kalt/warm sowie frische Nudelgerichte und nebenan, am Poolgrill, konnte man sich leckere Pizzen machen lassen. Bei den Souvlakispießchen wars allerdings eher ein super totgebratenes irgendwas, die Katzen hats gefreut ;-) Bestellt eine Karaffe Weißwein und separat Eis dazu, dann kann man das schon trinken, rot eher weniger. An der Poolbar und auch an der Abend-Bar gibt es die typischen Cocktails sowie die lokalen Gin-Tonics, alles soweit ok. Was mir nicht gefallen hat, war, dass beim Mittagessen irgendwie "Sonder-Hausgäste" mit eigenem Kellner bedient wurden, die z.B. schönen Fisch (weißes Fleisch) serviert bekamen und auf meine Nachfrage, wo der Fisch zu haben sei, sagte der Kellner "gibt es nur für die"! Als ich später noch Nüsse für meinen Joghurt mit Honig haben wollte (Standard), kam der Kellner wieder ums Eck mit "sind aus, vielleicht morgen", da bin ich dann aber leicht ausgeflippt und der Koch hat sich umgehend entschuldigt, die Nüsse waren am nächsten Tag dann wieder da. Kleinigkeiten, ich weiß, aber erwähnenswert.... Es war noch Ferienzeit, somit auch einige Kinder unterwegs, aber alles cool. Natürlich sind die unvermeidlichen Engländer in ihren z.T. gepflegten Klamotten auch am Start gewesen, falls überhaupt welche getragen wurden beim Mittagessen. Wenigstens ein T-Shirt, please, leider haben die Angestellten nicht reagiert. Gilt im Übrigen nicht für alle Engländer und ja, gibt es bei uns doch auch, oder? Zusammengefasst, Apollo Beach Hotel, das geht schonin Ordnung! Wer keine Zeit verlieren will, Zip Transfer €60.- Airport shuttle hin und zurück, jeweils 15 Minuten. Für €2.50.- gehts direkt vorm Hotel nach Rhodos Stadt, ca. 30 Minuten. Leute, Anfang Mai bin ich wieder in Rhodos, nebenan im 5 Sterne Hotel Mitsis Faliraki. Schaut rein und entscheidet, ob es sich gelohnt hat. HG Rudi

Goed hotel direct aan het strand. Voldoende bedjes in de tuin en rond het zwembad. Glutenvrije voedingsmiddelen beschikbaar op aanvraag via de receptie. Personeel is vriendelijk. Kwaliteit ontbijt elke dag goed alleen de koffie is werkelijk vreselijk. Kwaliteit diner vonden wij zeer wisselend. Drankjes in het hotel zeer aan de prijs. Kamers goed ingericht, klein beetje gehorig. Schoonmaak kamers een 10+ elke dag wordt de vloer van je kamer gedweild. Na 11 dagen waren onze hotelslippers nog steeds wit. Op eigen tempo kun je schone lakens aanvragen dmv een speciaal bordje op je bed te plaatsen. Parking voor de huurauto voldoende en gratis beschikbaar.

Le personnel est très agréable et attentionné et très à l ‘écoute, hôtel et propre, la nourriture au top, séjour idéal pour la famille. Une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer, de nombreuses animations pour toute la famille c est la première fois que nous partons avec nos filles de 3, 7 et 10 ans nous avons passé un séjour de rêve.

l'Apollo est bien situé est de Rhodes ..piscine intérieure très grand bassin pour nageurs ....surveillé.eau est excellente !!piscine extérieure très jolie aussi ..et en avril il y a de la place pour tout le monde ..des transats et parasols fixe paillotte bien agréable ..le restaurant propose une cuisine variée et raffinée ..animations de très bon niveau ..soirée chanteuses..etc ...les chambres sont très bien équipées et service étage parfait...

We had a bit of a different start to our holiday than most, we had a terrible experience in another hotel which we stayed one night in (you can see the review in my profile) but Apollo Beach was there to save the day. We booked in with Apollo Beach online the morning after a nigh**are stay at the other hotel at which point my partner phones to see if we can check in early for after explaining our situation and the man on reception was more than accommodating, they organised a taxi to bring us to the hotel after standing in the heat for hours with our suitcases. When we arrived at the hotel, we went to reception and the man on reception told us to leave our bags and go for food (All free) whilst he sorted our room so this was all fantastic and the room was sorted within about 30 mins. The room itself I thought was great, it had all everything you need a TV with some English channels, big bed, walk in shower and a great view from the balcony. Once sorted in our room we went down to the pool which isn't the biggest but does the job overall and there were always sun loungers available. There is a bar right beside the pool along with a stand for ice cream, pizza, crepes and a few other bits. If you have kids there is a baby pool with a park right beside it and I also believe they run a kids club. There are pool activities such as water aerobics everyday and also you are right on the beach which is filled with sun loungers if the pool isn't your vibe. There is entertainment most nights such as when we were there they had a Greek night with a Greek barbecue, an Abba night and an opera night which was all unreal. The bar was always very energetic at night with table service along with music playing. There is a small shop within the hotel which sells everything you could need at a reasonable price. The food was great at breakfast and at lunchtime we availed of the pizza station however dinner was probably the only downfall but I believe this is more on us than the hotel as the restaurant was full every night the food just didn't fit our taste but if this is the case for you do not worry as the hotel is a short walk from the main street which is full of restaurants and shops. All in all it was a fantastic holiday and we are even going back next year as we are getting married in Greece and have chosen to stay here for 2 weeks during this as we loved it so much.
