What a perfect hostel! A few steps away from the bus station and at walking distance from Kangding main square and the monasteries The hostel is clean, well organized, with a large communal space, a fridge and traditional stoves The room (6 female dorm) is spacious, there is a window with mountains view, the bunk bed is large and equipped with light and international socket; there is even an electrical blanket for keeping you warm at night The large outdoor terrace between reception and dorm building is so lovely and has a great view over the mountains and river I really liked the rustic feel and thee extensive use of wood of the hostel

Super beautiful and well designed hotel with exceptional service. After coming back from the mountains we felt so well taken care of and could get some rest: we could wash our clothes, got super tasty snacks for free and the staff immediately attended any question or requests we had. The hotel is also perfectly located in Kanding. Super close to two main temples and only a 20 minute walk to the city center. The view from the room we had was also amazing. Highly highly recommend this hotel when visiting Kanding - and we hope to come back again! Thank you again!

Recently renovated with very nice amenities. Room was extremely clean and quiet. Breakfast was good mix of *******, Chinese, and western foods. Location next to Anjue Temple and one block from Kangding Lovesong Square can’t be beat.

Intern at front desk is really nice but mid way at night, exhaust was blowing out smoke smell. Employee came and mentioned the exhaust is water from onsen lol. Other than that all is good, breakfast is good.

Good hotel, very close to the bus station and the room has everything you need. It took us some time to find the place since there’s no “Mercury Hotel” sign anywhere, but showing the booking text to a local helped—they even found an English speaker for us. If you’re booking here, just note that the entrance is at the back of the building, not on the main street. It’s a small entrance.

I was very satisfied with the room at this inn. First of all, the room was very well equipped, including comfortable beds, clean quilts and curtains, and effective air conditioning, which made me feel very comfortable during my stay. Secondly, the cleanliness and cleanliness of the room are very high, in line with the brand image and service standards of the inn. This made me feel very at ease and comfortable during my stay. Overall, the rooms in this inn were excellent and I was very satisfied with the facilities, comfort and cleanliness. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very close to the highway intersection. Considering the difficulties of parking in the city, I chose this one. The number of parking spaces in the courtyard is not sufficient, but the staff will take the initiative to guide and assist in parking, and the parking problem can be assured. The room facilities are brand new, the hotel is backed by the folding river, and the location environment is very good. The room size is small, but the layout design is reasonable and the space utilization is high. The breakfast category is rich in the hotel, the staff is smiling throughout, the service is intimate and friendly, and the overall stay experience is comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel in Kangding; with it's warm family atmosphere. The rooms are very clean, with comfortable beds and great views and the roof top balcony (and cafe) is a lovely place to hangout. Excellent breakfasts too, with lots of variety and great coffee. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming and went out of their way to help us. Thank you so much for the stay, it was one of the highlights of our trip !! Thoroughly recommended !

I booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive. So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city. The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones. I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information. One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C! The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.
