Rooms are net & clean, staff is very cordial. Hotel is at center place satara. Hotel stay is very good for official visitors. However breakfast items can be improved.

Centrally located place with much
inflated price tag for the kind of rooms / services that are offered Though rooms are maintained nicely with inherent scenic views of the satara city owing to the height, the various fixtures at room such as WC faucet, lighting etc are not maintained. The light fixtures removed altogether.
In some rooms WC water faucet is malfunctioning etc. The hotel management should pay attention to workability of taps and lights etc. Even the central AC unit is not chilling even at 19°C. There is absence of lighting in shower area of the bathroom. Though luckily the exhaust system is working properly in the washroom that is positive side. Much improvement is needed for a more pleasant stay at this property. I was shifted to another room with another set of plumbing problems as my first allotted room did not have lights.

The room offered to me ( executive king) was having shower issue ( shower knob was not working ) they shifted us to bigger room ( royal suite) but here, the ac was not up to the mark or not working. The toilet door used to get locked and required key to open it. However keys are kept in slot for electricity in the room. Toilet door lock is inconvenient for the guests. The room doors are old and room ambience also requires renovation. Other wise food is excellent and staff support is encouraging and good

It was wonderful stay with maharaja regency. With takeover of sayaji, it will further improve luxury experience. Food quality was excellent but more menu required for breakfast and meal. Staff was polite and cooperative. Few customer expectations like welcome drink, room menu, safety feature like fire alarm and smoke detector. Building also requires second staircase as emergency staircase. Staircase door shall be fire resistants. Otherwise excellent property.
