This is a gem of a location, with an amazing ambiance. A former caravanserai, the decorating of this hotel is opulent. While the rooms are not that big, the decor more than makes up for it. Original stone walls, large chandeliers, beautiful kilm carpets in the rooms. We were talking and wanted to pack the carpets in our luggage and take them home! The bathrooms are decorated with outstanding tiles and colour scheme. While it wasn't very big, it was properly lit and and warm. it's possible to walk down the hill to the centre of town, where we visited a tea shop and sat outside drinking chai. The breakfast was modest for a buffet but tasty and adequate. I would recommend that the hotel staff be a bit more hospitable, especially those who work the front desk. They should greet the visitors, and not just ignore them when they arrive, even if it's after check in.
