Ugurlu Konaklari

20 Ocak 2024 tarihinde konağınızda kaldım. Konağınız bakımlı ve güzel lakin şöyle olumsuz tarafları var. Uzun bir yoldan tatil için geldiğimiz Kastamonu’da size tercih etti tur şirketimiz. Odamız birinci kattaydı. Tüm gece iki saat uyuyabildim. Çünkü izolasyon yok. Evet tarihi konak ama gene de birşeyler yapılabilirdi. Örneğin biz iki kişi (evli) birinci katta kalırken, üstümüzde üç bekar erkek kaldı. Ve sanki bizim odada gibiydiler. Tüm konuşmlar duyuldu sabaha kadar. İsimleri bile öğrendim. En azından otel yönetimi kalabalık bekar grubu alt kata koyup, bize üst kat odası verebilirdi. Banyonun giderinden su neredeyse gitmiyordu. Akşam yemeğinde kapalı alanda bile sigara içilmesine izin veriyorsunuz. Ve kapı açık olduğu için üşümemek elde değil. Tüm gece kapı kapansın diye uğraştım. Yemekleriniz lezzetli ama ilk geldiğinde buz gibiydi. Gidip tekrar gelmesi yarım saati buldu. Grup gelindiğini bildiğiniz halde nerede ise iki kişi kan ter içinde servise yetişmeye çalışıyorlardı. Kahvaltınız çok güzeldi. Hele poğaça gibi ekmek çok lezzetliydi. Odalara çıkarken galoş giyilmesi zorunlu. Güzel bir uygulama ama o galoşlar zor giyiliyor. Galoş için otomatik makine koysanız daha iyi olur.

They promised us AC rooms but the AC was not working. They said they would fix the issue but throughout our stay the AC was not repaired as they claimed it was out of their control. These things should have been checked well in advance before customer checks in. They did give us a refund ...but a minimal amount as compared to the 5 rooms that we had booked.

Lovely hotel. They did a great job preserving the historic character of the houses but ensuring everything is modern and comfortable. Staff were so friendly and the food was good!

This hotel is really amazing. Very beautiful rooms at old house with nice use of historic elements. The public rooms at every floor are also very well decorated. The price for stay was really good comparing with setting. I got a free parking place in front of the house. Not sure how they organize parking if it's busy. The restaurant has a license so it could be noisy until midnight if you have window to the garden area. It was easy walk to old town. Castle is just next to hotel and has best views at the evening. So it's good idea to drive up before arrival.

It is a difficult mission to run a 170 years old mansion preserving the originality and adding comfort to it. Ugurlu Konaklari accomplished this very well to my opinion. I have stayed there twice and both my rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Food is very good, they serve local and continental dishes as well as Aegean metzes. Staff is polite and warm. Area is quiet, just under the beautiful castle from 12th century. Rooms overlooking the street would have a full view of the well lit castle at nights. Thanks again to all the staff who made me feel very welcomed during my stays.

Beautiful peaceful hotel within walking distance to the center and right next to the castle. Our room was traditional, large and very comfortable. The evening meal we had was all local dishes , which we found very different and tasty. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

I stayed at Ugurlu Konaklari in 2019 for the first time and enjoyed my stay. This time, I have chosen the same hotel remembering my previous pleasant stay. In the mean time The hotel was expanded with two additional buildings in the same traditional style. The staff was welcoming and polite and helpful. The food was very good.
