Hotel Yellow Pagoda, very centrally located, with very efficient and courteous staff members, including Mr Anil Raj bhandardi, Managing Director, who can be very easily reached, is very understanding, cooperative and helpful. Myself and my daughter have stayed a number of times, for a short period as well as for a period of six months. If it was not satisfactory, we would not have stayed for such long periods, therefore I highly recommend for any single visitor or travel groups to directly contact the MD. You will not regret, especially for the foody,in the hotel , or go for shopping within walking distance. K P Pradhan

I stayed for two nights in the Yellow Pagoda before going on a six-day trek, and then returned to the same hotel after the trek for another week, for an international conference. The first room I had was comfortable but the plumbing was not great, I struggled to get hot water and there was water on the bathroom floor. Back from the trek, I had a much better room for the duration of the conference. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet and warm, and as I had a bad cold, I could retreat to my cosy room in between conference sessions. Wifi was good too. The staff were kind and considerate, and the food was good - I enjoyed the Nepali spicy milk tea, and the unusual breakfast fare. Yellow Pagoda is very conveniently situated and we walked to restaurant and to the Thamel district; and it was easy to arrange a day tour of Kathmandu as well. I felt quite at home and well cared for, unlike in the big hotel chains which are cold and impersonal.

This hotel is very bad . Bad service ,bad staff . This hotel boss and manager is very bad. Who is coming this hotel please don't come here. This is not hotel like jungle .bad service .i request anyone don't come here
